Woah, that's pretty in-depth! Can I ask what factored into your top 100? Did stepcharts play a factor in rating songs, or are we just basing it off the songs themselves?

It's MAINLY based off of listening to the songs themselves. The step charts is kinda half-half with having anything to do with the songs on the list. It's honestly a lot of details on why I love each of those songs, lol.

As a person who's done public forum debate in speech & debate (and it's not something I look back on fondly), I would like to note that many of the upper-level debate teams I've heard of tend to use redefinition. In their case, it's more of a "stick to the ****ing decorum" type of thing. It can be kinda stupid though- I've heard about a team who completely bashed the other team over the head for not sticking to their predefined definitions and breaking decorum. They lost because the other team kept actually fighting their argument and not getting all heated up about it. (My mom judged that debate, by the way. The losing side then chased her down and demanded an answer why they lost their round, and made her late to the awards ceremony. This is just one reason why I have to remind people that I do speech, not debate.)

Liberal as fuck here, and from what I've noticed, liberals tend to use that defense. Especially when discussing things like gender, race and class.

I should probably mention that I'm pretty liberal, and I somewhat agree that the above comic has its points. Just being radical and close-minded is pretty unhealthy in itself. I just try to avoid talking about politics since I usually don't know the context, like how I didn't really know the context of the comic.


As a socially-awkward paranoid recluse, I can totally relate to everything you say. I've been pretty much isolated from a lot of people partially because I'm kinda shy, but also because my main interests are completely unheard of in the tiny little town I call home. I've had a crush on someone once... That was before I started isolating myself. That was the year before I realized that I was annoying and weird. I've been afraid to show myself in public, but recently I've started crawling out of my shell. I've noticed recently how accepting the high school I attend actually is. It's the kind of place where the jocks are geeks and the student council members are nerds. Of course, sometimes I've had to hide back inside my shell to keep myself from annoying others again. But I've found that a surprising amount of people are kinda awkward themselves, and people can be surprisingly accepting. I mean, I'm still paranoid. I still try my best to stay hidden. I'm even afraid to keep a social media account and chat with people on the internet. But I'm starting to feel a bit more comfortable around people, and I'm sure something big might happen that will help open you up, like something happened to me.

I know I kinda showed up outta nowhere, and I've started talking a lot recently, but when you see more of me, it means I'm starting to feel comfortable. So, thank you guys. It's nice to have a place to talk about things no one else I know has ever heard of. If I'm ever being annoying, please let me know and I'll do what I can to amend that. I don't usually try to annoy people on purpose.

26 years as a virgin kinda sucks...
On top of that, I only dated once in high school and ended up getting dumped 3 days later because apparently, I was too annoying...

Seeing people together at this point makes me feel bitter now and I hate feeling this way...
