This calls for a celebration.

It's bad enough that the VC is getting more support on the newer consoles than the older consoles and now they dropped all the Sega Genesis games WTAF.

So earlier in the day, I was searching online to see who else is talking about Chris' victory at KAC. I found articles on Polygon and Kotaku, but there was one search result where I had to do a double take. So it turns out that Univision Deportes did an article on his victory. At first I'm like, estoy algo soprendido que Univision Deportes esta hablando de DDR. In translation, I'm a bit to surprised that Univision Deportes is taking about DDR. I also noticed that the article is filed under the e-sports section. It had me thinking... Is DDR an e-sport. I don't know if the general consensus here that DDR should be considered as an e-sport or not, but whatever floats your boat. It should come as no surprise that the article is in spanish should any of you decide to have a look at the article.

Getting a Wii U was once in the running for me, but when I calculated that I would only use it to play my small Wii library sans DDR games, Bayonetta 2 (and maybe 1), and maybe the NES Remixes, I said fyck it. I'm probably better off expanding my Wii library and maybe buy GameCube accessories and games (particularly looking at Eternal Darkness).

It's too bad my pitch of getting games using Virtual Console or Wiiware didn't catch on. tl;wl They won't give me money, and soon I won't even be able to play on the Wii for years at a time.

Well it's not too much of a deal breaker for me as I look forward to Mario Kart 8 (yes I know that there is a better version on Switch), Super Smash Bros WiiU and Super Mario Maker (Although I do have both for 3DS). Still waiting for the price to go down.

Um, two problems for me. First, I primarily use a Mac. I've tried emulating games on here, and it's not easy or fun. Secondly, I think most of us tend to forget that the average consumer doesn't know how to use a computer. To each his own, though...
