I've started to notice people taking shots at Trump for the most little things or post stuff he's doing and then finding no source from the story besides "a friend told me". There's plenty to bash the guy, we don't need to reach for something.

Politics will be politics. Left-wing people will blame Trump for every shortcoming in their life, just like how they blamed Bush Jr. Right-wingers blamed Obama for every shortcoming in their life, too.

Maybe if people focus more on fixing their lives instead of worrying about stuff they have next to no control over, maybe we'll be in better shape.

I agree with that completely! People have been focusing way too much on the negative to the extent that they forget that you can find the positive within anything that you do. Personally while I wasn't happy with the election results this year, I'm not going to let it make bitter nor am I going to be angry all of the time. I feel like people have forgotten about unity so regardless if we're under a perceived lunatic or not we as people would be a lot effective sticking together than divided...but hey it's not a perfect world.

I think the way to deal with Trump is to ignore any news from either side, and take as fact things that are physically effects of his presidency, namely smoking craters or economic recessions.

If you want to deal with Trump as a rational and level-headed person, take the following steps:

1) Don't worry about it.
2) Stay focused on your own life and family matters.
3) Reach out and pray for those being oppressed, whether they support or detest Trump.
4) Make the best out of how the world is today.
5) Know it will end eventually, just like Bush's presidency.

I don't intend to brag in any shape, way, or form, but it appears as if I came in 2nd place in my school's essay contest...
