The vocals from GORGEOUS 2012 (if you can call them that) creep me out, and at the same time are hilarious.
Outer Limits' opening is fitting for a sci-fi/horror film opening.

Well, the problem is, Scream Squad is NOT from DDR.
My pick is PARANOiA ~HADES~. It's awesome and disturbing.

Would be cool though...
PARANOiA ~HADES~ is creepy during the triplet run.

Mars Wars 3. That music sounds like Alien invasion theme.

I've always thought that Fascination ~Eternal Love Mix~ was pretty scary.
"I am all you need...need...need...need
...
We are connected (haha)"
Then again, all of Yuichi's songs under 2MB are scary, because when you listen to them for the first time on the song wheel, you get that lump in your stomach and think "Oh shi-, what hell awaits me when I press that green button".

PARANOiA Hades.
It has the essence of Halloween embedded in the roots of the song. Seriously, they need to use that song in a chase scene in a scary movie.

QFT. Whenever I listen to this song I picture Damien from the Omen chasing two people through a series of underground tunnels, ending with a descent into hell. Call it strange if you like, but I vote PARANOiA ~Hades~ for scariest.
Then again, there always IS Xanadu's bg. *Shiver*

That's true. The 2MB songs always seem to be eerie and somewhat on the evil side. Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) is another one that is a bit scary, probably because of the excessive beeping. I remember the first few times I heard that song, it really made me think that someone was dying. It was really strange.

I always thought that FELM was Yuichi's personal gift to me. Best late 16th birthday gift evar.
I never did figure out what that automated voice during the first 400 section was saying though.
"Er, what?" "Er, right?" "Alright?" I dunno. But I am pretty sure that it's "You are connected" at the stop. The first word seems muffled, even with the best quality of MP3.

Well... PARANOiA (Clean Mix) and Trip Machine -luv mix- aren't that bad. I do have to agree with you on everything else though.
When I first played HVAM, I thought that the beeping sound in the background of HVAM was your heart giving out during the song.
Trip Machine -luv mix- starts off creepy with that kid (So does Trip Machine Survivor.) and the guy in the background kept yelling "Clover" o_O

Most 2MB remixes are far from what the title says to you.
Nobody said that FELM was a love story.
Nobody said that HVAM was a holy or divine type of remix.
Trip Machine -Luv mix- is not about love.
Pluto relinquish is quite ambiguous.
Although he's right on the buck with La Senorita Virtual, Paranoia KCET Clean Mix and Orion.78 (Civilization Mix).
I'm judging them through song content and bg.

Eh. I disagree.
It's Fascination ~eternal love mix~, not Fascination ~love story mix~.
The FELM dude continuously yells, "I am all you need". Since 2MB's mantra is "Why do you need Konami Originals", what it's saying is remixes are all you need. You could go as far to say that "I am all you need" means "DDR is all you need".
Then there's the telephone. The ringing during the first 30 or so seconds of the song and the 3rd 400 section could mean that there's an obsession coming from the caller. The gradual decrease in the sound of the synth is hope going down the tubes. The busy signal is rejection. The "We (or you) are connected" means that they finally got through.
HVAM has that "the-person-is-circling-the-drains" noise and the flatline noise. What do people yell when someone is about to die?
"DON'T GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!"
Light = Heaven. Heaven = Angels. From the Christian standpoint anyway. There's also the angel in the BGMovie in DDRMAX.
Trip Machine -luv mix-, I'm not too sure on. The guy in the background yells "Clover".
Pluto Relinquish has the spacecraft noises, the banner, and 2MB's quote.
Tomato, tomahto.

The angel in the ddrmax ver. of the bgmovie is from ghosts. HVAM rips one bgmovie from ghosts in two versions of its video.
DDRMAX- yeah, the angel.
Extreme- the thunder, also used by paranoia kcet and maxx unlimited.
On the first time, you wouldn't expect that angelic mix means "the last moments of life."
In my view, FELM is like one of those mysterious spy like moments. And the FELM dude is Scotty D.
On trip machine luv mix, the "clover" is present on the early versions of Trip Machine (before climax), although i can hear a girl say "hello" as if answering a phone.

I'd say MARS WAR 3, since that gives the feeling that Earth is being invaded.
FELM is... obviously a top pick. (my friend calls it the song with the phone from hell, of which everytiome the song is played, he will lose because he's trying to figure out which phone in his house is ringing)
I truly fear LOVIN' YOU (Rob Searle Club Mix) due to its suckage, but that was already addressed in another forum.
PARANOiA ETERNAL also gives me shivers because it makes me think I'm in hell's machine factory.

I have a similar name. I call it "The phone call from Hell".
I yell that at newbies occasionally who think they can advance to the next difficulty.
YOU HEAR THAT? IT'S THE CALL FROM HELL! IT'S NOT LETTING YOU PLAY FRECKLES UNTIL YOU BEAT FELM .
Just kidding. I actually make my friends play FELM when they want to play a basic song.

I go down, it turns out that he wasn't calling me, and I look a little embarrassed.
