This is awesome, and I've never played DrumMania before, so I don't know what that's like.
I borrowed Rock Band for the Wii, and even though this is insanely hard, I am enjoying this more than Rock Band itself! The thing I hate about RB drums is that I have the hardest time with the bass pedal, and this is exactly how I would rather play RB. And that annoying stuff where you hit yellow on practically every beat of the whole song... I'd love some more random-like IIDX-esque charts instead of realistic content.
Discuss, I guess...?

That looks even easier than Stepmania. o_O
Holding freeze arrows is another story though. Crossovers also seem to be pretty difficult on it if you don't like "double-tapping"
Still, a sight to behold. XD

It's actually quite amazing - I get absolutely no lag on these drums, but I have to change the GlobalTimingOffset in StepMania.ini to -30 ms (-.03000) when I use the standard keyboard. My first thought when I saw the drums connected through a USB port was: OMG StepMania?!?
I passed Pluto and Pluto Relinquish (I dropped the sticks and tapped the drums with my hands randomly at the final run ) and FELM
Freezes are like ITG rolls, all over again. But seeing as that's the only freeze in the entire 600+ arrow song (at the end, might I add), I forgot about tapping the freeze. In other news, I got 7gr 1m 1NG on Himawari.

I'm pretty sure that since the guitar plugs in through a USB port, you could also put StepMania in pump mode and configure the five buttons (upper and lower separately) to the arrows. The strumming wouldn't work without some custom programming (that would also probably cause lag).
Forgot to mention: for anyone that has RB Wii and wants to try this, configure L-D-U-R to the B-2-1-A buttons on the drumset; even though they're configured to the buttons, it will still sense the drum taps. It seems to configure every drumtap to the same key if you actually use the drums to make your input on the key/config screen.
Also, enter/back are +/- for me.

First sonf I played was PLUTO and I got a AA, almost a AAA, and I full combo'd it, and I never had on the keyboard before... lol.
I also played Fascination Maxx and got a Tatsujin, which I will upload tomorrow/Friday.
I was also surprised there was no lag from the drums being connected to the PC, I am pretty sure its because the peripheral is supported on the PC though.

I would've thought myself there was more lag than with the keyboard, but I guess it's the complex network of wires and multiple keys assigned to different wires, then all the processing the computer does with the keyboard that makes it 30ms slower.
Still new to this, so I won't be getting any scores like yours soon.
RoyBoyCF: I noticed that reading the arrows with drums is like trying to play StepMania spread... which I can't do. Sometimes I hit a drumstick up higher for the ups, as if I was playing on a giant version of the keyboard's arrows.

Really? I found spread much easier than one-hand arrows, as DU stuff became doable, and my forearm didn't ache after 8's anymore. d, f, j, and k just happen to not interfere with each other at all.

Well I play with both hands, I use the middle finger on each hand to hit the arrows on the keyboard. I have it configured so there are two sets of "arrows" like that, one set for each hand.
Also, SAGA is really fun with the drums.

I play one handed. I started out using three fingers, and improved to two (even on Doubles). Speaking of Doubles, I'd like to see someone try that with two sets of Rock Band drums. XD

I've herd about this, but I don't have any drums.
Good taste of Stepmania themes I must say.
