i always thought STEPSTAR was a cooler name but at least they didn't go with Dance Generations

According to the Q2 fiscal report of Konami Group Corp., it is called "High*Cheers!!."
And they say it will be released around this December.

I'll be curious to see how languages will be handled; is it gonna be like most of the other games where you choose between JP/ENG/KOR, or is one language baked onto the software a la Sound Voltex?

Hopefully all locations get this game. My closest R1 still doesn't have the new Taiko (just the old one that runs 14), but they did get Maimai. It's a Konami game, so chances of them getting Pop'N are very high, even if it's just one cab.

Unrelated note, I still think Pop'N has the highest skill ceiling out of all the Bemani games, because of the fact you're dealing with 9 huge buttons, and their higher-level charts are very note-dense that require you to use parts of your arms, in addition to your hands/wrists.

Folks, I don't think we're out of the woods on this game's title just yet.

I'm of the opinion that if it was published in an official Konami document as High Cheers!, then that's the name of the game. I have no idea why all of these promotional things have different variations on the title (when they seem to all be about the same thing anyway??).

It feels like a mess just like how DRS had different names before Konami settled on Dancerush Stardom

Cheers Mate sounds so british though, it makes me think they will also release the game there too

As an Australian, seeing "Cheers mate!" makes me picture sitting out in the backyard in flip flops, footy shorts, dirty singlet and ratty mullet, in 40c/104f heat drinking the worst possible beer. I'm conflicted
