If anyone is at Furry Weekend Atlanta this weekend, the game room appears to have one of the first American sightings of the Universal/platinum DDR World cabinet. They also have Pop'n High Cheers and SOUND VOLTEX ∇ cabinets that are all online, and the provider of the machines for the convention has been doing some official field testing with Konami on things such as e-Amusement outside of Round1.

Only 2 of these might have been on my Bingo card (Abyss and TSUGARU). The others kinda surprise me, especially The legend of MAX. I woulda bet MAX 300 would have been first. Has it ever been discussed or revealed how Konami decides which legacy songs will get charts, or is it more a pull out of a hat situation?

I hope legend of MAX is better than the hot trash that was the X-Special. It deserved better!
TSUGARU challenge may be menacing but it won’t hold a candle to TSUGARU standard!

Haven't looked at all of them, here's my opinion of the ones I did look at:

TLOM: Dropped the ball again, this time trying to jam too many arrows. SUPERIOR MAXXX works with 12th and 24th because it was built for it, not TLOM (Outside the slowdown part.)
Abyss: Looks fun, a little more dense than expected.
Cutie Chaser: REALLY fun looking. Can't wait to play it this weekend.
TSUGARU: I still get the energy of the chart, just more intensified. Good Chart.
volcano: Hello Arrabiatta. Also...eww 16th gallops

Forever Sunshine was weird, it felt overstepped in some spots and understepped in others. Like... if you had asked me to turn that song into a 12, I probably would've come up with something completely different.

I've been into Shock Arrow charts lately, so KEEP ON MOVIN' looked fun. By the way, can anybody recommend good Shock Arrow charts? I've been enjoying One Sided Love and South, but I don't know of a good way of finding other songs that specifically have Shock Arrows.

I understand exactly what you're saying for that chart, but after playing it, I think it's decent. I initially thought it was overstepped in some spots, but it ain't too bad. I think some spots are more understepped, and honestly think it coulda been punched up a wee bit to make it a fun 13. But yeah, decent.

As for TLOM, I dunno yet, need to look at it a lil more. I like how it looks a lil more than what they did with PARANOIA EVOLUTION, tho.

[EDIT] So I got around to listening to the claps to understand the steps to TLOM, and absolutely not..... One of those "aw what the hell, let's do it anyway" charts....sheeeeeesh...

alstroemeria (walk with you remix) is a fun 13 with Shock arrows IMO. If you have access to DDR X3 in your local arcades, Boom Boom Dollar is also a fun chart with Shock arrows.

Mermaid girl is just its chart with shock arrows incorporated in. Maybe Saber Wing and Horatio.
