Hello I want to talk about a certain topic that is bothering me. It turns out that the Stepmania community is one of the most active I've seen and is committed to not only preserving simfiles based on DDR games. But also create their own simfiles with original songs and keep this community alive.

But what happened to the community of sims based on other BEMANI games like beatmania IIDX, pop'n music, GITADORA and SOUND VOLTEX. Why don't they have the same activity that Stepmania had before?

They don't dare to preserve the songs of those games in a format to be able to play them in a specific simulator. And they prefer to create their own original songs because they consider it piracy. Leaving the original songs as lost stuff.

And another thing is how small the community is, because the people in that community are mostly Asians and few people are English or Spanish speakers.

This makes me sad. Since Stepmania with the DDR simfiles I stopped liking it because it no longer offered me a challenge. You just press 4 arrows to the rhythm of the music and that's it. On the other hand, games like beatmania IIDX and pop'n music do offer me a real challenge. Since having more buttons implies a greater difficulty and that makes me my skill in the use of the keyboard. But there is no simulator that replicates in the right way the experience of those games. And that lets me scratch with a single button, not like in MAME where to scratch I had to alternate between two buttons.

"also known as MEGAtive"
To put it simply, you're in the wrong community. If you search outside, there are numerous communities that are doing what you envisioned for other games. Not as comprehensive as ZIv to DDR simfiles, but there exist simfiles for other games.

BMS is The most active with original songs. Each year, hundreds new original music appear for it. And it is a beatmania/IIDX/Pop'n Simulator. You should try it.

People want new original stuff. Why would they want a 20+ years niche and clunky content when they can have fresh new stuff that are fun to play? Also piracy is another thing you should take precaution. Your wording implies that people are cowards because they are afraid of piracy. Well, people should fear piracy more. People don't want to get sued for million dollars because of a hobby.

Because the game you are asking originates from Japan, which is Asia.

"suffering from success"
Other games weren't popular in the states. Good chunk of the DDR community stems from the states. Also I'm pretty sure BMS is rather popular, all things considered.

A shame. Well, I like several old beatmania and beatmania IIDX songs. And there must be songs that I have never heard in my life and I would like to listen to them.

And another thing you should know is that some DDR songs were originally from beatmania like for example 20,november, Jam jam reggae and R3. There were even remixes of those songs like 20,NOVEMBER (D.D.R. VERSION), Gentle stress(SENSUAL MIX) and GRADIUSIC CYBER ~AMD G5 MIX~.

That's why I want them to preserve the songs of beatmania classic and beatmania IIDX in BMS and I can listen to several songs that I have never heard and I may get some surprises. But no one dares to do it for fear that Konami will give them a C&D.

I guess the only way to get those songs on BMS would be on the Bemaniso website. But it requires an account which you don't get by registering but by buying it and I don't have the money to buy an account.
