Notes for the Mixup event:



Each game gives 100 or 120 points based on light or standard play as applicable, but there are opportunities in most games to get more per play. Based on the picture, seemingly every game gets mix points, but its meter fills more the closer it is to the game you're playing. Rates are unknown at this time.

800 points fill the blue gauge, enabling the game you're playing to share with its neighbors, but you need to select "Share" on the site to make it happen. Once you do that for two neighboring games, you can try for the 1500 points to fill the pink gauge and get the mix songs. I'd assume point gain applies the same for those gauges as well.

Playing the Konaste games, Dance aRound, and the non-rhythm Konami games can give boosts. I believe this is the first time the Konaste games are being used in an event. If you're bold enough to play every Konaste once (50% each), QMA 3 times, QuizKnock 5 times, and DaR 10 times (those three are 10% per play), you can cap the boost at 520%.

I'd say the best way to unlock is, if possible where you are, to play two games across from each other on the map (ex. IIDX and DRS) to balance point gain across all eight. Then again, playing a single game is likely enough.

Something is said to unlock if you max all of the pink gauges, but that's currently unknown. I'd bet a new Ichika (and Nono and Miya plz) song. This does go until January 11, so there's plenty of time to unlock everything.

What the hell, this is sick

Those charts are so good and that was a surprise for me because i usually don't find 18s very good.

I know we already got some footswitch in some chart but it felt like "Well i guess if you footswitch you don't have to double step" kind of charts.
Those ones tho, are really clever and feels like OFFICIAL FOOTSWITCH CHARTS.

Check the single chart for exemple, at 0m19 in the video you have the first footswitch coming. Those are not so hard to do but to make the player really notice that something is going on with this patern the arrows are mini freezes (yeah can't use a single mine like ITG does for exemple).
This is really smart because you first introduce this kind of patern, make the player think about it, execute it multiple times and then at 0m29 you throw faster footswitch paterns after you "warned the player" that yes, footswitch are coming in this chart.
The double chart has the same style/rule as the single one.

This is clever game design and stepchart design.

I wish we knew who made the charts because you did a fine job there (and that's coming from someone that don't love nor hate footswitchs).

Porter Robinson's video about it was pretty heartwarming. It does seem like he started to get into music production basics with DDR

Haven't heard of Porter Robinson before now but these are great tracks, I'll have to check out more of his. Imagine getting to play your own songs in DDR, you never really see any other artist this excited for it.

Stop with these assumptions. We won't know anything until A3 actually releases in the US.

The entire Mixup event can be completed on just one game alone, but someone figured out that it would take a little over 200 credits to do so.
