Coming out tomorrow for gold cabs only so far

Wow..ok.

It's like playing Sonic 2 and reaching Metropolis Zone Act 3 and you're like, "really, more of this?"

At least it's something new but I can't imagine something substantial's going to be added or changed. Hopefully some re-ratings.

So I was right that it's a new version.

And if we learned something from the A20 series, it's that the blue versions of A3 will come out eventually (in a month or so), so I'll be patient about it and take in whatever new content this version comes with.
Side note. They BETTER bring back those Legend Licenses after just stopping at 4. I genuinely thought they would make at least 6 or 8 during A20(PLUS)'s span lol.

I guess a completly new name/cab will come for the 25th anniversary then ?
Still that's new content so for the lucky folks that have access to it that's sweet.

Sadly i'm only a spectator for now but what i'm hoping for :
- some old songs getting a new and good chart (the purple theme of the announcement makes me think of this a little). A lots of songs before the X area could get a new polished chart (they could also revive the song) if the song deserved it (i could name 50 of them at least). As long as the chart is not stupid.
- if they make a 20 difficulty somehow, i hope it won't be something with 80 stops, 30 bpm changes and 250 bpm 24th notes crossovers that you have to brackets while playing on x1 with bpm range from 10 to 888.
- new interesting stuff (not only songs or charts but maybe ways to unlock them, edit mods, ect)
- send a cab in France, please : D

This is a very odd name... though DDR has almost always had numbered AC series so it isn't really surprising.

Hoping they add that Edit Mode they promised years ago

Aside from the name, this also makes DDR A20 PLUS a version of DDR that didn't release Level 19 charts on its songs, like DanceDanceRevolution (2013).

What a weird name. I do suppose we had X3 so it’s not completely out of the blue but why go A, A20, A3….

Yeah I was hoping for a whole new version, not another extension of Ace.

Could be worse, could be like that time in 2013 when they made Dance Dance Revolution and then called the next mix Dance Dance Revolution

One challenge chart event for some A20 plus songs

So does this mean Gold cabs are the new form of location tests for DDR?

This new version being suddenly hours away is quite the surprise. I look forward to how it will try to distinguish itself from A20+.

Seeing the logo makes me think that it will continue to be the same, but I can't prejudice before its launch.

Reading the TAG post, I feel that he left the company with some discomfort. His comment is a direct criticism for DDR and not in a positive feeling
Or He is not totally agree with the tittle "A3"

Confirmed, DDR A, A20 (PLUS) and possibly A3 use DDR A engine.

A20 has the same structure than A, the only different are the graphics details, bgs and fonts.
