this category is full of stolen steps from a user that used to go by "ddr4ever".
Compare the ddr4ever file (temporarily added to my category):

all this person has done is add sparkly new graphics to old files, resave them in sm5, and make typos on the metadata. it wouldnt be out of the realm of possibility that the rest of their categories have stolen contents too. i dont think this person should be allowed to upload simfiles here anymore.

I think he shouldn't be allowed to even have categories. Months ago (can't quite remember exactly when) these 3 simfiles he stole, ABBYS (SANXION7 REMIX) - dj TAKA, Light - SANXION7, LOVE AGAIN TONIGHT -HIGH SPEED MIX- - NAOKI FT PAULA TERRY. the first two were from simfile contests categories that still have their files, and the last one is straight from DMAxel's categories with pretty much ZERO changes, not even the graphics were changed. And even after this was pointed out, the files stayed up for months until he removed them, and he doesn't even take responsibility for stealing them as in his category, DDR Legacy (the only legacy here is one of theft as far as I see), he says the "songs were temporarily removed for correction." Judging from this he isn't even going to get rid of the stolen files even when told to by the original creators of the simfiles.

Just found another file that he stole, an EternuS simfile made by goldensunboy over a decade ago

Double-checked some of the 
charts, JAZZY CAT is taken from me, with just a Left/Right/Mirror/whatever mod applied to it.
FIRE! could also be taken from my file (same notecounts and barring holds in a couple of jumps, it seems like a Shuffled version of my chart for the song), but it is not as blatant as JAZZY CAT, where it is still credited to me in the file itself, lol.

I messaged Newb about this. Banning apparently prevents only forum posting, not editing categories. I figure al2k4 would have to restrict the user's ownership of the categories or something

Now the guy has a new category that, judging from the name of his category, is going to be filled with just files stolen from this simfile pack that is 5 years old.
The first file uploaded to it is already a fully stolen file from the old simfile pack, as the graphics, steps, and even preview are the exact same.
And considering that the category has the exact same name as the old pack from stepmaniaonline, this guy isn't even trying to hide the fact that he stole it.

Just to follow this up, I think this category seems to imply he's taking files that already exist and giving them doubles charts or taking files from other people then re-charting them or something. It's not entirely clear but there's a lot of strange stuff listed. Might be worth checking anyway!

I don't think that user is taking responsibility or feels bad for stealing others work since he keeps on requesting categories
