Hey everyone, I'm glad I found this nice little community, you guys look really cool! ^^

My name is Rémi, I'm 20 years old and I'm a french DDR/StepMania player. I'm fairly new to the game, I've always known the game existed but didn't think much of it until I went to my first fan convention in February of 2015. I met a few good Czech players who were messing around on modded levels, I was so fascinated by the game I started playing StepMania on keyboard later that year.

A year passes and a new arcade opens in my town, Reims (France), and they have a Dancing Stage EUROMIX 2nd Mix. I was able to play a few games on it but unfortunately it broke down a few months later. But now it runs under StepMania. I go there 3 to 4 times a week and play up to 3 games each time, I've been doing so for the past 9 months and am getting really good at the game.

That's nice that you have an arcade stepmania machine, the songs that can held on such a machine would make ITG r21 pale in comparison. I used to have a stepmania machine in the area ( albiet it was one of those "DDR Supernova 2 plus" type of machines) that had almost every song in the main series up to Supernova 2 USA CS. But it was rotated out by the game renting company about a year ago and it's nowhere to be seen since.

Greetings. I am James Lee Jamerson. I used to be here but I decided to try again with this site. No, This will be my main account and I sincerely hope to try to fit in. Here are a few bullet points I like to point out as my goals.

1) Learn how to model for Stepmania and port over as many DDR Characters as I could fit with the High Quality Ripping I will be aiming to do. High Quality Ripping as in rip and rig all the characters that I can when I eventually buy all the DDR Console Games from Japan, Europe and America. Results may vary on that regard.

2) Learn how to play with the Dance Mat. Results would vary.

3) Eat healthy, slow down on eating, and ditch the Soda. Results (If successful) would allow me to fit into various clothing and cosplay. Especially Tokusatsu Cosplay. (Think Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes among others.)

4) Learn how to make Themes for Stepmania V5. Results would vary.

5) Study hard in order to get jobs. Results (If successful) will net me money with all the hard work.

6) Essentially be a hard working student who will fight onwards for everlasting peace.

I will never give up on my dreams and I shall have fun as I work for a better tomorrow today. I shall abide by the rules and to be fair and to also treat everybody as if they were me.

Hello everyone, I am BlueFalcon007 (Call me Falcon), a fan of the music of Bemani in general and a casual newbie player, I liked the songs and Rhythm games since I was very little. I'm from Chile which is basically PIU and few DDR Machines (the most updated being an imported X3 vs. 2ndMIX machine), and played a few times on mat.

I wish to git gud in mat, but barely plays on Stepmania

Greetings! I'm Nemoide and I'm new to this forum! I just started getting back into rhythm games for the first time after a multiple-year break, motivated by the opening of a new arcade in my area full of Bemani games (Round1 in Middletown, NY).
Years ago I was hardcore into DDR and was a member at DDRFreak when that was a thing but now I'm out of shape so my skills aren't what they once was...
IIDX is my main game at the moment, but I'm not very good at it--after my long break, level-5 songs give me trouble. But I'm practicing and am determined to become better! I've also just started fooling around with Sound Voltex, GITADORA, MUSECA, and Groove Coaster, but I'm an absolute newbie with those.

When I'm not playing rhythm games, I enjoy shmups, JRPGs, and retro gaming in general. I work as a librarian and am also really into movies and retro-anime.

I don't really know much about the rhythm game or arcade scene these days, but I look forward to being a part of these forums!

There's really not many options for rhythm games here in Edmonton, and I've always wanted to branch out to other such games. Some of you may know that I make tons of ITG simfiles. I've been doing that for the past 5 years, mostly for my local community. I might post them here soon.

I've been into DDR since way back! And also got into to making simfiles way back then. Back when Dance with Intensity was a thing. ^^
If anyone here remembers the DWI Palace from back then that's what we were back then, and in most cases I made the steps.

So thought I'd finally register and say Hi. And was also thinking I wanted to upload the simfiles that we did too. So I'll no doubt check for requesting a section for that. ^^

I am hoping I could learn how to rip models for rigging to Stepmania as well as playing DDR and it's kin enough with the dance pad so that I can lose a lot of weight. (Provided I take care of my body with Diet and Exercise.) Also, I am watching Lazytown and thought that it's a pretty good show. Better than the other cartoons even.

Milkshape 3D is tricky but I know I can do it provided with enough practice. Also, I can make some themes as practice for Lua scripting after ripping textures for it.

Further more I have Autism, Asperger's and ADHD but I became a good person by learning from my mistakes. I will abide by the rules, to be fair and also treat everybody as if they were me. I vow to be excellent to one another and make this a great place to be in.

Since I haven't introduce myself even thought I already joined this site since around 3 years ago (I'm such a lurker, ahahaha) and also I became the host of this year Summer Contest, it's a great timing for introducing myself.

Hello, I'm DaffaK, and I'm a rhythm gamer hailing from Indonesia. I started addicted to rhythm games since the middle of my elementary years by playing PIU and DDR on the same year.

I like playing maimai (usually ranged from level 8+ to 10) , Groove Coaster (on mobile), Pump it Up (sometimes), DDR (not so much since the DDR machines are pretty sparse in here), and Stepmania. I also make a simfiles and graphic stuff on my spare times.

Beside that, I'm addicted to anime stuff (I'm a weeb but not too much) and video games. I also likes listening to the music (mostly pop, Japanese music, and electronic).

Oh yeah, I preferred to be called DaffaK of just Daffa since my username (Daffa212162) are sooooo dated. Nice to meet you!
