Hey everyone, S-Money here. Been following the DanceDanceRevolution scene for a while now, as well as the competitive Melee scene (Armada is the one true god of Melee). I'm also studying math in university (minor in computer science)

I used to play Stepmania a lot, but I haven't been able to because I've been so busy. But I still find time to check out Z-i-v for updates on DDR A. So I'll be here throwing my opinion around and giving insight every so often.

I’ve been a member of this site since 2009 but I’ve always been a Super Lurker, jumping out of the shadows to post about new songs or input my opinions before jumping back in the shadows but I’ve recently lost all my rhythm game connections and friends and want to build some new ones so here’s an intro for my hopes of making some new online friends.

Hi everyone, I’m Azaliate (Hi, Azaliate).
I registered on this site as Darkstorm091 once upon a time, but I honestly hate that username now as it’s a reminder of how unoriginal I was as a 13 year old who needed a username and honestly the username stuck around for much longer than it really needed to, so I much prefer Azaliate as a username. username changes hwere
I’m a 26 year old rhythm game loving X-Ray Technician currently enlisted in the US Navy and stationed at the Naval Academy in Annapolis MD, probably making me one of the older people of the site, but by no means am I one of those stuffy Old Guard people. I started IIDX with SIRIUS, got into pop’n on Sengoku Retsuden, and started following AC DDR at X2, so I’m very much a part of the ‘new generation’ crowd, preferring the newer people such as lapix, onoken, and HuΣeR, to list my current top 3, over the old skool people such as SLAKE or TaQ.
I pretty actively follow every BEMANI rhythm game and I actively play IIDX and DDR, and also dabble a fair bit into CROSSxBEATS.

Musically my first love is heavier music as my first real experience with music was watching a livestream of TANO*C INFERNO during the summer of ’09 so I do show favoritism towards that style and those kinds of artists over the ones that do softer or slower stuff, but I try to be as impartial as I can be when listening to new songs. My philosophy is “don’t judge until you’ve heard it”, so I’m willing to give anything a shot…except country. Country music gets no love from me. You can call me rude but I spent 180 days for 12 years listening to country going to and from school so I think I’m just a little qualified to judge it.

Anyways, think I’ve rambled long enough to give everyone a good sense of who I am. probably rambled a bit too long tbh
I’ll probably mostly post in various rhythm game threads but I’ll try to branch out and post in other places every now and then.

Hey, I'm Lily. (Wait, how did I seriously snag this username?)
I'm a bit noobish to arcade rhythm games, although I've always wanted to get into them, and here I am. I've mostly been learning dance games on PIU Prime 2, and outside of that I play GH/Rock Band, Groove Coaster (Mobile version, sadly), and osu!(Standard/Mania), although I kinda suck at all of them relative to other players.
Outside of rhythm games, I play pinball.
Looking forward to hanging around here and meeting you all.
