Also, does this mean that unlocks from NEX+AGE will be available normally? like Stargazer

Or is it like IIDX where you have to wait two versions for all of the current mix's unlocks to become available for everyone

It’s more like Jubeat. There MAY be some songs from Tri-Boost unlocked by default, but expect songs to only be unlocked via Deluxe Mode (and that’s locked behind PASELI).

Tri-Boost? Isn't that like....2 versions ago?

I'm not all that well versed in other BEMANI games, but I know that in IIDX, typically you have to wait 2 mixes for all the unlocks to be normally available. So for example XENON II was an unlock in IIDX 26, and it wasn't until IIDX 28 that it became a standard no-unlock song.

That’s just IIDX. Each game is different. Gitadora is the worst for past unlocks. Yeah, Tri-Boost is like 2-3 games ago, but its songs still need to be unlock from the PASELI only Deluxe Mode. It’s been like this since it was introduced in Matixx. That (and the weekly unlock mission system) is why I dropped the game.

How does this unlock event work?

Played a bit and as far as I can tell, the event is just another "play like 20+ credits in order to slowly fill up a bar" type thing. Not sure how the songs unlock though.
