Z-I-v Battle Royale 2021 (Thank you for playing!)

Welp, it's March, and you all know what that means...

Time for another Battle Royale! This time, hosted by forcednature and yours truly!

Let's get right into it, shall we?

OVERVIEW
Each week, you will upload one file. The following week, everyone will vote for their favorite files. Much like last year, there will be two cutoffs. One after three weeks, and another after two more weeks. In each cutoff, half of the players will be eliminated. A minimum of five players will be left to participate in the final round. After this final round, the results will be revealed, and the first and second place winners will select themes for Summer Contest 2021!

CONTEST RULES
1. If you enter a file for a round, you are required to vote for the files that round. If you fail to vote, you will receive no points for your file.
2. No voting for your own file.
3. You may enter only one file per round.
4. Files must be uploaded by the specified deadline.
5. When uploading a file for a round, put the round number (ex. Round 2) under "Section."
6. In the case of a tie at one of the cutoffs, all tied players will advance to the next round.

SIMFILE RULES
1. Only one chart is required for a file. Only singles charts are required.
2. The DDR X-Scale will be used to rate files for this contest (1-20).
3. Songs must be arcade length (under 2:30).
4. Files must be pad files, no keyboard charts.
5. No auto-generated steps.
6. You must submit new files for this contest, no previously-released files.
7. Graphics are not required, but they are recommended. In the case that you can't make graphics and don't have someone to make them for you, placeholder graphics are provided.

VOTING
During each voting period, players will rate all files featured in that round from 1-10 (excluding their own file, of course). Ratings must be whole numbers, no decimal ratings. All votes will be sent to FoRCeDNaTuRe via PM.

SCORING
At the end of each round of voting, each file will have a final average score, which is the average of every rating given to that file. All individual file average scores will be averaged into an overall average. Players will receive a point for every 0.1 their file is above the overall average. The points accumulated at the end of each phase will be used to determine who gets eliminated at each cutoff.

Everyone who participates in a round will also get an extra point for participation.

DEADLINE
Submission deadline for both files and votes will be every SUNDAY at 1PM EST.

March 28 - April 4: Round 1 Voting, Round 2 Submissions
April 4 - April 11: Round 2 Voting

April 25 - May 2: Round 4 Voting

May 9 - May 16: Final Round Voting
May 16: Final Results
