Surprise, Konami just announced a VR game! You can play guitar, drums or keyboard. Most songs seem to be crossovers from GITADORA, though there are some new ones. The game's releasing on March 12.

Konami is throwing stuff at the wall cause they can’t keep up well with there past series. I’m aggravated at the fact that Ultimate Mobile and DDRV are dead in the water but this comes out of nowhere and is released in less than a month.

I feel the same but then i thought how Ultimate mobile and DDRV were going to be home versions of A20 with them basically releasing the same songs from past arcade versions. I think they're just going to stick to releasing new songs on A20 plus

DDRV deserved to die considering it was literally just a thing a couple employees threw together for a laugh and really had nothing going for it. If Ultimate Mobile ever drops, it coming out on PC is probably also the only real way it'll go well.

DDR V was just a small project for fun, Ultimate Mobile is still in development but there's probably issues given they changed the game's UI three times already

I didn't know Ultimate Mobile died; did they just stop posting updates for a year or did they actually announce some cancellation?

I was having difficulty following this until I realized we were talking about DDR Ultimate Mobile and not IIDX. 
Is anyone able to actually get into the Beat Arena site? For some reason I'm not able to get past the "select a region" screen.

Most of it was from places that didn't know what they were talking about, to be fair. The few people who did talk about it who knew rhythm games and DDR absolutely shat on it.
