Fantastic stuff! They should package this with SM instead of the three super-old simfiles it comes with at the moment.

I just wanna say whilst I think this is a brilliant way to say to someone new to stepmania "just grab this it'll get you started" with all the current modern noteskins/themeing options and the like. Unless i'm missing something it seems like you haven't got anything to help with calibrating to your machine? Whilst obviously those who have been around for a long enough time know how to just fix their offsets no problem I feel like putting the calibrate option into the operator menu (which i think was in stock SM5 for a while but i could be wrong) with something that's aligned with the 0.009 offset being used these days, with a note on first boot to run it would be a massive help to anyone who is brand new.
Other than that this came out at just the right time as I got a new pc and this saved me a long time of digging out old links for noteskins and stuff so thanks for that!

That's a great idea. Didn't even notice it wasn't there -- like you said, probably because we're all experienced StepMania users. We'll get started on that right away!
