DDR SuperNOVA CS (US) was the very first Bemani game I played. My cousins actually introduced me to Dance Dance Revolution on Easter Sunday in 2007, and the rest is history.

DDR Extreme CS (US). Parents bought it and a Red Octane pad(!!!) as a Christmas gift for my sister, but I ended up playing it way more than she did.

I had DDR 1st and 2ndReMIX and Best Hits all at once on my PS1 back in 2004/2005. For arcade experiences, I think it was DDR EXTREME or USA.

DDR EXTREME CS (US), I think. Honestly all I could vividly remember from playing this game 15 years ago (? I think I was a first grader back then) was .59, 321 STARS, and PARANOiA ETERNAL.

DDR Extreme 2 on the ps2 in october 2018. I played DDR Max 2 in June 2019, and that's the one that got me interested in the series and other bemani games

I played a DDR Max machine in a gas station somewhere on the way to New York roughly 18 or 19 years ago? I played one song on basic and thought it was ok, then saw someone playing heavy doubles and me and my sister thought it was neat, but laughed at how much it must cost to get that good on this arcade machine. Little did we know.......
I ended up purchasing DDR Max US my freshman year of high school. I never really skipped class, and one day me and two friends were like "Lets see if we can get your dad to take us to Springfield (the closest town with a Gamestop) tomorrow instead of going to school. I guess since I never tried things like this he agreed, and we ended up buying the Game and Dance pad. I played it every night for years, purchased every game that released states side, eventually got a Solo Machine as a Christmas Gift that was priced dirt cheap at a nearby arcade, moved to Chicago when Supernova released and was able to play up there at Bruneswick Zone in Naperville pretty frequently, which was sweet because it was one of the places they tested IIDX Gold in the US. When I moved back to Springfield MO, all the machines were in sever disrepair or just gone, and to this day there isn't anything nearby. Even the Dave and Busters in KC and STL never got Ace machines afaik, but we were supposed to get Round 1's in both cities this summer. I paid people in other country's to get my E-amuse card updated with all the limited time events, and now am just waiting for a chance to play somewhere. Maybe when things clear up a bit more I can go back up to IL one of these days, I am sure those Round 1's were delayed or cancelled.

What sucks is that DnB might go bankrupt soon.

I hope they don't, but on the bright side, a single bankruptcy can be recovered from if its a quality place and they lower there overhead costs. Its hard, but possible. I would rather it just not happen though.

I remember that when my mom bought me the PSX, she also bought so many games, and two of them were beatmania 1st and 2nd append mix.

Both the STL and KCK D&B stores have A20 PLUS cabinets. Kansas City doesn't have a R1 planned, but STL has one planned for a late 2021 opening.

I think mine was either CS Extreme 2 or Drum Freaks.
