I apologize if I miss something, I'm new here after not using the account for some time.
Hi, after discovering there was a bunch of newer versions of Starlight, I hopped on the latest version of the game and discovered I can't seem to access the SNcharacters. (https://imgur.com/ACBCLvn)
Unlike the older version of Starlight I was using. (https://imgur.com/NuLcsUD)
And with the recent discovery of a few bugs I've noticed, Like how text seems to bulge out of its boxes. (https://imgur.com/WjopEfO)
Is there some sort of patch I could apply to the theme, or is there a fixed version of the Starlight theme?

he posted this in the DDR XX server as well.
There is no patch for the theme that fixes those bugs yet, nor is there a fixed version of the theme. The current version is the last version of v1.

I added this as an issue to the Bitbucket issue tracker a few weeks ago (I wasn't sure if it was the right place to report the issue).

WORKAROUND:
1. Navigate to <install dir>\StepMania 5\Save\LocalProfiles\00000000\MidflightDigital\ProfilePrefs.lua
2. Open ProfilePrefs.lua and edit the line: character= "<folder_name>" , and replace <folder_name> with the name of a folder in "<install dir>\StepMania 5\SNCharacters\"
Example: Change
return {guidelines= false, Towel= false, exstars= 0, stars= 0, character= "rage",
ex_score= false, lanes= false, bias= false, filter= 75, TowelPos= 0}
to
return {guidelines= false, Towel= false, exstars= 0, stars= 0, character= "emi",
ex_score= false, lanes= false, bias= false, filter= 75, TowelPos= 0}
3. Save the file and restart Stepmania.
If you stick with one SNCharacter for most of the time, the workaround should be fine, but if you like to switch characters often I would advise doing a clean install of the theme on 1.2.1c

On the topic of bugs with DDR XX Starlight Theme...
If you use the "Wheel" option for how your music library displays, there is a white banner in the bottom left hand corner that bops up and down to the bpm of the song you are currently highlighting.
It's totally white and whites out any text that you want to look at and also is quite distracting as you are going through the songs. I have spent hours looking for it in the code but I am a novice and so I'm reaching out for help
Any suggestions greatly appreciated
