Just got back from my first trip to R1 in 14 months; was super nice to play IIDX again! What's not nice is the fact I probably won't ever be able to catch up with unlocks, thanks to the pandemic.

That being said, is it just me, or do some songs tend to sound better when you're actually playing it versus listening to it on Youtube? Because when I played Jungle Eater, it sounded better when I played it in person than when I listened to it again on youtube, and I don't understand why. 8I

Most likely because Youtube compresses everything when it's uploaded and you're not getting the best best quality when it comes to music. It's always been like that unfortunately. I also can't wait to go back to Round 1 as I have yet to even get to play Bistrover once since it came out I missed everything!

Yeah, for a while I was worried IIDX 29 was gonna come out before I was able to go back, and that would've meant my unlocks would've been lost. Today was the day the antibodies from my COVID vaccine would be fully developed, so I figured I'd go out and celebrate. There's very few things that are left untranslated, now (in comparison to the HV version from last March, right when everything went to hell)! I think parts of Arena mode and events are the only things left in Japanese, but I haven't touched Step Up mode.

Step Up mode has almost nothing translated still.

Same case with post-playing events.

So, I grinded like a madman again today, and I got 3 of the Platinum Travel Cards, but I don't see the "Bistro Landing -SECRET-" folder, anywhere. : (

On the bright side, I was able to get both tourism songs, but uuuuuuuuuuugh. X_X

Actually, I think it's because I didn't get the cards from Areas 1 *and* 2-3; I only have Area 2, 3, and 6. >>
(I was trying to unlock -65 Degrees Celcius. )
