Best 12s and 13s for a relatively new player?
Been playing DDR for around 3 months iirc and I’ve been able to handle certain 13s and most 12s. I’ve been playing the same small pool of charts and don’t want my skill to plateau. Anyways, any recommendations? Looking for tough songs btw!

I see, that’s alright though. Whenever I’m on vacation I try and scope out any local arcades and they all usually have SN/SN2 cabs.

I just looked at your profile and I now know that there’s a DDRA cab in Glendale. I’m in Tempe, that’s not too bad of a drive. I didn’t even know there were any, the Dave and Busters in Tempe has a PIU machine. I know where I’m taking my kids this weekend.

Funny story, I actually live in Washington but visit AZ every April with my family. I just put that down cause we went to that DnB last time we went there lol.

I'm a certified old who doesn't really know many charts past X2, but if you're looking for tricky 13's, you can't really go wrong with like... Xenon, Fly Away -mix del matador-, and Colors. The patterns are all pretty straight-forward, and they use a lot of syncopations that become pretty common with the more difficult charts.

Going to the arcade today after I get off school. Gonna give these charts a try. Thanks again for all the recommendations!

I don't believe that. For example, Naoki songs are still in arcade, Akira Yamaoka too.
Some songs, Bemani can have the rights too. That's why the artist titles start with "Bemani Sound Team...."

Building off from the DDR A Difficulty Tier List, the DDR A20 PLUS Scoring Difficulty Ranking List maintains the idea that some songs within a difficulty level are easier or more difficult than others within the same level.

Unlike the previous lists, the new revised lists for DDR A20 PLUS takes a different approach to appropriately ranking each song within a difficulty range by its difficulty to attain a score within a certain threshold. Score data for each song in a difficulty level is used to assign a difficulty score for each song, and is sorted and ranked by its resulting score and separated into tiers between difficulty level X.0 to X.9 (or X.00 to X.99) based on gaps and trends between scores.

The data is taken from user-submitted scores on Skill Attack, a DDR score tracker. Thresholds used to determine the song difficulty score is based on its difficulty level. This method takes out the element of player bias and is solely based on data.
