I can kinda see where the 13 is coming from, considering how the track is in quite a lull until the last third or so.

Since no one mentioned it here yet, DDR is having its first seeming permanent license removal in 2 and half years (the last being Strobe Girl in March 2018) as Rinnetensei bites the dust in a month's time. I'm impressed that the library's been able to retain most of its licenses since A's international release, especially with more than a dozen western pop songs in tow.

This is the first time in a long period that i really don't like the song to be removed (earlier was Kind Lady). Rinnetensei is such a banger and it grew on me when i used to play it.

The steps make this song seem like something that would have come out as a boss song in Extreme or earlier, and I love it.

The only way to confirm licensed songs being added officially to DDR is either through the e-amusement portal site or @DDR_573 on Twitter.

Side question for anyone who can answer:

Am I mistaken, or is DDR the only one without all completed manifests?

I know DDR hasn't completed its last manifest from the 2019 Ichika event, and honestly, I don't mind waiting for it due to the pandemic. It gives me time to remind myself if I can make decent edits. However, after going through the other games' manifests, I can mostly recall that the other games' goals have been realized.

I would laugh if it turned out that Plus was necessary to make EDIT MODE possible. After not having it in arcades for so long, I'd bet more would need to be done to make it happen compared to ten years ago.

I think EDIT MODE is a feature who can't put in as a mere feature in A20. Besides that, you need some place to do the charts and now there's nothing.

I imagine the future plan is to release the home version first (The Ultimate Mobile game), and then in a new release add the EDIT feature, just like SDVX did.

It's not. IIDX, pop'n, Nostalgia, and Sound Voltex are missing one each as well, though they're all cosmetics. (Technically SDVX is missing a second, more substantial one, but it's being added in the new version.)

Bump: New Golden League is coming on September 24, with song being unlocked for Gold rankers on October 7:



The Kaiden course is also coming on that day.

Didn't X had a website or something similar to make edit charts? I remember finding a non functioning webpage for that once

Also about the manifest, I kinda feel out of all manifests from that event, edit mode was the most complex one (along with maybe the megamix feature from SDVX). Most games had cosmetics or songs as rewards but DDR had a feature that worked mostly with CS games. Still, even if you made edits in CS games, there should be a way to make edit charts somewhere, maybe like uploading them to a cloud service so you can play them anywhere and also share them
