Good evening, folks. In preparation of getting a new NTSC-J PS2 since the one I have now scratched up my old Party Collection disc to the point where the music doesn't play, I wanted to confirm something. When I completed a set with AFRO (1st), I unlocked JOHNNY (4th) and BOLDO (3rd) instead of just one dancer. So, for example, in order to unlock the next two dancers, would I need to play as JOHNNY (4th) or BOLDO (3rd)?

I believe you keep playing any characters on that same row to unlock an extra character down that same row, if that makes any sense.
