Anyone remember playing the original? I remembered making an account was a bitch because you needed a KSSN, but even then the game didn't last long (and I think they cracked down on non-Korean players). X_X

Just gonna stick my head in here to say that hey, I'm the guy who wrote that article. I'm keeping tabs on the whole situation and will be posting more articles if and when we get more information.

I posted this on MGH and people blew up saying its old. Oh well.

The article said it was gonna be rebooted ; I'm pretty sure that means they're probably gonna have all new graphics, and songs from the newer EZ2AC games on there, as well. I'm hoping that because it's on Steam, it will mean it's going to be given a worldwide release and get an English translation.

Mostly Negative Reviews. Servers blowing up.. yeah.

lots of freezing, crashing, pausing doesn't work, always online so their servers are flooded and no one can play the game

Are there separate servers for US vs Asia? Maybe their server issues won't be bad in the US? Has anyone from the US tried it?

I'll probably give it a try in a month or two; Don't know if there's a lot of songs in there, but $38 is a pretty big leap of faith for a game that's currently broken. Also doesn't help that it has an always online requirement. >>

(Weird that most of the big-name music games that have come out on Steam, let alone PC, they're all games you can't play offline. >> )

The game has a total of 217 songs (they're all unlocked from the get go) I'd say $38 is more than a fair price. Of course I'd still wait til the servers aren't shitting themselves.

Still crashes once in a while but the last few patches have made the game feel a lot more snappy at least

There's been a lot of updates (features and some more songs, mainly BMS songs and crossovers from EZ2AC Final EX) since the early access phase started, so it feels a lot more fleshed out now at least. Also, in terms of the most recent additions, we got Brain Power now, and the first DLC expansion (EZ2AC Time Traveler) was also announced.

Anyone know how often this game goes on sale, if at all?

It sometimes goes on sale for $38.24. Last time was in June during Summer Sale 2021.
