I already have everything unlocked for DDR ULTRAMIX3, but I’m curious about how Quest Mode works. I’m aware that there is a guide from neoseeker.com, but I consider myself more of a visual learner, so the fact that there isn’t any gameplay I can find is a bit troubling. If anyone has played through the majority if not entirety of ULTRAMIX3 Quest Mode, can you help a fellow DDR fan out? Please and thank you.

Hey E24K nice to see you here, It's similar to Quest Mode in Universe 1 but a bit harder, right now I have a few more states left I believe with Valencia (My Favorite Character) as a Follower/Sponsor/Manager.

When you start, I recommend you start off earning points before traveling (Recommended: Turn on analog sticks if you are using a controller.), afterwards, visit states that have the least fanbase points. (Example: Northern Canada or Southern U.S. minus Texas or Florida.)

Hiring Backup Dancers (Just Honey and B') and switching Followers/Sponsors/Managers which are characters from previous games, 4 from the PC game as DLC (Ruby, Sapphire, Valencia, and Guy.) and 2 from the beta of Ultramix 1 (Star and Rider) can give you a better boost at those tough states.

This is just the info I'll be saying for now hopefully it was helpful, I don't want to go into full detail, maybe when I finish my Supernova playthrough which could take the next 10 years Confused I'll try to see if I could record Ultramix 3 Quest Mode or if I have motivation too.

Nice to see you too, DDR_Oshawott, and thanks for the tips so far. I remember reading in the instruction booklet that turning on Help arrows in the arrow options also helps out with fanbase scores. Is this true? And if so, what exactly do Help arrows do for you?

I'll send you a PM about if the Help option does help, I haven't tried it yet, but I think I will now. What I know so far is some arrows will be yellow like 1/16 notes with a white outline, but they are not actually 1/16 notes.

Alright, so I've been playing Quest Mode for four hours and have obtained the following:

• Ni-na as my manager
• Two backup dancers
• 32 out of 63 flags/states

As I continue to go through quest mode, I wanted to ask a couple questions:

1. How often will you be asked to add an additional backup dancer that doesn't replace anyone?

2. I noticed how there are plenty of other characters from the past games (i.e. Janet, Johnny, Yuni, etc.) featured as managers in this mode. How much does it normally cost to switch managers, and who besides Star is considered the best manager before you meet Boldo at Dance Dance Island?

Thanks in advance if anyone answers my questions.

UPDATE: Quest Mode is complete! Within the span of two days, I have obtained all flags, acquired eight backup dancers, hired Star as my manager, and easily beat the Dance Dance Island challenge in one shot, all while finishing things off with a PFC for The legend of MAX on Heavy. Now to complete B' and Honey's puzzles...
