Hi!

Amazing theme, it feels like an actual retail game. Very big congrats to the team.

One question I have is with respect to how the theme tracks combos. I'm told that starting from DDR 2013 "Good" was the minimum cut off to maintain/gain combos. I'm too used to the older scoring system so was hoping to change the cut off to Great as minimum.

I tried modifying this in the theme metrics.ini by setting

MinScoreToContinueCombo='TapNoteScore_W3'
MinScoreToMaintainCombo='TapNoteScore_W3'

and gameplay wise it seems to do what I think it does but in the final scoring it seems to give me full combo regardless if I got a good or not so I'm guessing this is hard coded in somewhere in the theme (ie: as long as I have 0 misses regardless what I set my Min to be, it says I have full combo.). Seems like there's no theme options like in default skin to adjust this outside of the ini file (I could be wrong on this...).

Is it possible to change this so that the full combo message is only displayed when I actually get full combo according to the metrics I set?


(and iirc the max combo count seems to continue the combo count from where I got a "good" but I can be wrong about this, needs more testing.)

Aside from this, very fantastic theme. Working great on OS X.

This is definitely my favorite theme, thanks for the hard work!

Is there a way to enable the ability to turn off Decents/Way Offs in this theme? I guess that would be turning off Goods in this case.

Simply Love has the option and the default theme for 5.3 Outfox has the option, looking through the INI files and LUA files I see no reference to "Disablelowerwindows" so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way to add this to Starlight. Thanks.

DDR XX -STARLiGHT- Noteskin
the arrow, reinvigorated.

It contains 6 different colorations, and it has been recently updated to include RAINBOW!
The design of the STARLiGHT noteskin makes it easy to read arrows on light or dark backgrounds (though you may still choose to use a screen filter if you would prefer). They are slightly smaller than existing arrows, which slightly untangles dense patterns.

Really great job on the theme. I had 2 questions:
- are there plans to add the mini modifier to shrink the arrows? The default size is absolutely huge on my screen (50in lcd monitor) and definitely a hinderance.
- any plans to add C and M modifiers to the speed selection?

If you don’t have plans to do either of these changes, could I take a crack at it? I would submit a PR If you were willing to look at it an pull it in when it meets your code standards.

This is a limitation of the wheel and we are working on getting a better implementation of it working.

We can definitely look into adding functions like this!

Actually, we are working on implementing BOTH of these in the next major release of the theme. Stay tuned!

Don't know if its too much to ask - Is it possible if you guys made an option to let the player decide what kind of banner they want displayed for wheel type in 'wheel'? As in maybe I just want the jacket to show but not the banner and vise versa.

Quick question. I put the game into free play using the theme so it skips the title screen. How do I revert out of that so I can make a change?

Hold F3 and press 1 to rotate between free, home, and pay mode.

I'm a bit curious. Is it possible to add custom BGMs? Also I'm not sure if this is a problem with the theme itself, but at least the clear rank sorting option might be bugged? When I get an AAA it sometimes shows up on the AA folder instead

Just downloaded the entire starlight noteskin package and have been noticing that exact same issue posted above (albeit to a lesser extent) on left and right arrows.

DEAD END (groove radar special) is the only song I can get this bug to show up but it seems to happen on jumpfreezes.
