Quite plainly, it's the songs that weren't newly revived (or new in the case of the boss songs) for DDR X3 v.s. 2nd MIX that were present in 2ndMIX mode. All of them received BG videos resembling their old scripts. That actually reminds me: the DDR SELECTION event in the DDR A series does the same thing, so there are even more videos left to unearth:

I have these videos, but of DDR SELECTION instead of 2ndMIX mode.

1998 and GRADUATION are missed, and all videos are scaled to 4:3 and centered.

You're absolutely right. For example, the Brilliant 2U video in the simfiles section is the one from Extreme 2.
The other ones are in the X3 data. And they have both 4:3 and 16:9 versions 👀

I compared the DDR SELECTION version of the Brilliant 2U video and it's different to the one in X2 in the way that it's more polished, with more particles in some scenes, etc. And it's in 16:9 too.

What do you mean with Graduation's and 1998's videos being missing? They ARE in the DDR A data and in widescreen.

Only in my privated collection. These can be detected in the datamined DDR A/A20 (PLUS).
