Probably just me, but I find the use of hell charge notes in EROICA kinda gross.
Sounds kinda like a sequel to BAG; they could very easily half the speed to 100 BPM and make it a boss song in DDR if they want too.

No. Kinda? Not even close. it sounds nothing like BAG, they sound nothing alike. Idk what you're hearing but this is not that. And this song wouldn't make sense in DDR because this is a conclusion to an event exclusive to IIDX.

Of note is that GuNGNiR SPL just took the record for the highest notes of any Single chart in an arcade IIDX game, at 2443. The DP chart comes close to beating the Double record (2477, CHRONO DIVER -NORNIR- DPL) with 2428.
Hoo boy.

Since Bistrover is coming out next week, I should give this game an obituary:
This was surprisingly one of the strongest versions of IIDX in years; it had some good songs out of the gate, and most of the events had at least one good song in them (also helped we got 3 DJ Setup songs, but I digress)! And, of course, we finally got a North American release of an uncompromised IIDX game after waiting 13 years since that location test in Naperville, and that's not even mentioning the interface was finally translated to English. Only negative I have is that Covid only allowed us to play this game for a few months (Only a month or two if you only count the North American Lightning cabs).
Hopefully, we will get to play Bistrover sooner than later, pending we get a vaccine, of course, but Heroic Verse was the first (and only) time Konami did something right since bringing DDR back to North America, and I applaud them for it.
