[SM 3.9+ REDUX] DDR A-based themes (Support ended)

What version of StepMania is using? SM 3.9 or variants' themes are uncompatible with SM 5.

SM 5 users: use the Inori's or WYVERN-D's A20 theme for SM5 instead (Gold interface for WYVERN-D's SM 5 theme only). (links and PW in 1st post). All A20 themes for SM5 can be edited (updated) to A20+ (video, logo and BGM).

how can I change the Inori's A20 theme's arrow skin ?I set up the arrow option .but it doesn't work..

No idea. You can question to inori's SM5 theme. I'm checking later if have a SM 5.

Thank you so much for creating and sharing this! It was a real pain to get StepMania 3.9+ Redux running (MSVCP71.dll not found and all) but I ended up getting it working with an Internet Archive upload.

I have a couple questions:

1. Is there supposed to be only one song per row rather than three?
2. Should the song title appear in the INFO box at the top? I'm not sure if I messed up my installation because the song name does appear properly when I start the song.
3. Some songs appear as magenta in the song list because it's missing a banner (understandable), but should the jacket in the top-right be twisted? Could be something about my resolution or playing windowed.

I also ran into a few errors that I resolved:
Because infoshadle.png in "_style info double" and "_style info versus" were both 308x156 and they all seem to be blank transparent images, I resized the "_style info single" one to match.

I removed C:\Games\StepMania 3.9\Themes\DDR A20 PLUS (blue)\Graphics\MusicSortDisplay Sort list.png, hit Retry, and it fixed the issue. I restored the file and tried deleting MusicSortDisplay Sort.png instead, this also fixed it. I ran the two files through diff and they seem to be identical. Because no other MusicSortDisplay files have "list" as a suffix I deleted that one.

1: one song per row is per SM 3.9 and variants' limitations. SM 5 can display 3 per row.

2: Can edit these metrics if don't appear:


3: This is due to missed files, or redirected files to jacket, This can be fixed editing all SM files or lnstalling generic banners and BG files if is abstent.

4, 5: can be ignored if playing at fullscreen.

Delete the cache directory if you update the SM 3.9 to 3.9+ redux.

Hey If you want, you could use my plus gold bg, I've made also a bg video using Zerowolf's ddr gold live stream, cropping and adjusting every part of the live stream were the bga was being showing without elements, also I've tried to adjust colors, fps, sharpness, and resolution.

PD: those freezing frames you can see happen on the real game, I mean those video frames I've used were extracted from the time between resutls and select music, so every time you press start on results to the next stage there is short period of time were the game loads the music and the frames from the bg video start freezing, so that's why, it was not fault of my editing software. XD

Links of SM5's theme changed to Curilang's one (but requires dancer pack from Enciso0720 and Region.lua file to work).

The top of the Extreme UI covers a little of the target, the targets should be fully visible based on videos of the DDR Selection Extreme UI. But otherwise this is fairly solid for SM3.9+ limitations.

Maan, I love these. I wish someone could make an A-20/+ theme for Outfox one of these days Starlight is nice but it doesn't have that over simulation arcade feel to it

I just downloaded the noteskins. And when I load a song on extra stage it crashes the game. It says I am missing 4th left tap note. I am using NORMAL-RAINBOW. Also the default note crashes my game. Is there anyway to fix this. I am using StepMania 3.9 redux from here https://archive.org/details/StepMania3.9ReduxFull
