All right, boys and girls. It's showtime. We have the final results for VIP of the 2019 Summer Contest. Again, thanks to everyone who participated.

Um...wow. This is quite interesting. So, several plot twists. For one, it seems that apparently the other two esteemed mods were otherwise occupied for votes this week--darkanine actually came out on top this week pretty handily too, but it looks like the points will have to go elsewhere. And the two files right after that were tied! No kidding! By one 5-point vote, the last week came out as follows:

Pretty sure this year is the best I've done in all my years participating so far, at least as far as placing. I'm just glad that I'm making things that people enjoy, and more often (because I'm pretty sure this is also the most consistent I've been with submitting. The new schedule helps). Fifth is definitely a cool surprise to see!

I just woke up to see the results and, um . . . I was not expecting this at all , especially after the results of the first round (although I wasn't expecting that file to do well anyway). Maybe this is a sign I should step more WACCA (or similar) songs in the future. 🤔

This week has been hectic and I was not able to vote this week. It sucks because I worked hard to get into VIP and was only able to vote for one week.

Oh well...

Anyway I do have something planed for the fall. Look for something at the start of to mid September. Right now I think everyone can agree that we could use a small break before we go to the next contest.
