This announcement was meant to be made earlier, but in celebration of DDR A20's release, I felt that the time was right to commence production on a small project- a spiritual successor to the 2008 X-edits/ X2-edits!
So far, I have two proof of concept examples that feature new song cuts and modified (though similar) step charts, as presented below:
As of now, the graphics had been lifted off from this website's official simfile database. While it would be nice to have higher resolution assets with text errors corrected, graphic design isn't my forte, and I'm not sure whether I can both find and obtain permission for such assets.
I don't expect this project to be a success, but I do plan to release more files once I have a dedicated category for it.
Constructive criticism and/or contributions are welcomed. Destructive criticism is also welcomed.
