ULTIMATE MOBILE DanceDanceRevolution (Mobile)

Stream is over. They didn't play Ultimate Mobile DDR, but they did reveal that it will come out in Spring 2020. IIDX and Sound Voltex will come out in Winter 2019.

* It's a monthly subscription service. No word on price or whether or not you need a subscription for each game.
* Both IIDX and Sound Voltex will include a music player with a library of Bemani OSTs, a chart viewer, and the ability to play the game on the touchscreen without a controller.
* Ultimate Mobile IIDX may not be keysounded, at least judging by the part where they forgot to turn the touchscreen controls on.

The website is now up. You can pre-register and get the chance to win either a Entry Model IIDX controller or an Entry Model Sound Voltex controller. (Only ships to Japan, of course)

Pretty sure that DDR UM will also get the same Music Player and Chart Viewer features in the app.

It's actually strange that they couldn't showcase it at TGS. Maybe it's because the hardware pads are not quite ready yet, either.

Garbage that's what all these three are garbage. Seeing Dolce miss notes on IIDX there's no keysounding is the icing on how DUMB these games are. Stick to the real machines or you know. . .

calm down y'all they didn't even confirm what the model would be like, plus e-amuse CLOUD isn't mentioned so it won't be like INFINITAS maybe who knows and if it's bad well whatever it's Konami lol
as for gameplay, they didn't show it probably due to the unfinished metal pads like NikkiS said, and showing the foam pads would be less impressive and the hosts would have to take off their shoes or damage the pads

I don’t know what to think. They had a perfect opportunity to redeem the series and it honestly is kind of a let down. The song select screen is very strange and basic. I would have liked them to put a lot more into this but I can’t say I’m surprised.

Was there any information about release outside of Japan?

I am a bit hopeful to see a few songs from A20 though. It could end up being okay... now I just have to figure out how to get the game when it comes out if it doesn’t come stateside.

I imagine we'll get more info around KAC or a BEnama, given the Spring 2020 release so I wouldn't panic until we get more details also I don't this game will reach INFINITAS levels of bad, (altho I don't mind INFINITAS tbh)

The one thing I am happy with is the stage backgrounds. They look nice in action from what I’ve seen. It is a nice change from the same thing we’ve been seeing for years like you said.

Nothing was said on stream IIRC, but considering it's Japan, it is most likely that there will be no overseas release. Still, nothing stops you from sideloading the app and then paying the monthly fee (if that's the confirmed business model that will be used)
