Why is it that IIDX has huge discrepancies between songs that are the same difficulty level? There are some hyper level 8 songs that I can AA on command, but others that I can't even come close to passing. Same with level 7s, I find. Some are super easy, others are impossibly difficult.
Just wondering what's up with that. Or if I'm just a noob. (which is probably the case)

It's generally the type of patterns that you're not quite proficient yet at passing that's the trouble. Generally IIDX is in dire need of a rating overhaul, across the board, all difficulties need to be restructured.
