Am I going a bit dotty? I’m seeing people refer to Small Steps as a 9 or even an 8 in reality, when I thought it was more of an easy 11 what with the 16th bursts and twisty flow. This along with the English license batch is making me reconsider a lot about how I rate my own simfiles...

I mean, I AM of the opinion that having easy charts on the hardest difficulty is dumb, but that's mostly because Konami is dumb and has arbitrary difficulty slot limits. One of the many things they could take from Pump, which tells you to care about the NUMBER of the difficulty and not the fucking name of it. Don't think it's very elitist to think that. But I don't think there was much more to do with the song to push it anywhere above an 11 anyway. And, hey, I like un deux trois and Drop the Bomb's hardest charts...

Yeah, I, too, think it'd work as a 9, but no lower. 106 BPM is such a lax speed that you can slide liberally if you need to. While the song is short, there's also not a whole lot going on in the song itself, lending the chart the second lowest notecount among 10s. Speed the song up to about 130 BPM, add more of it to fit the time frame, and you'd be looking at an 11.

I misspoke. I thought it was a 9 lol. I still really like the cart though. It definitely looks like it would be mid-range for someone who is just breaking into 10 footers.

I was going to be very disappointed if Crazy Shuffle wasn't at least a 13 on expert. Chart looks fun, can't wait to play it.

I just don't understand why DOWNER & UPPER couldn't have swing rhythms if Crazy Shuffle does, but I digress.
I'm a little disappointed with Small Steps but the others are just fine. Small Steps didn't necessarily have to be harder, it's just that it feels kind of lopsided since they made the wrong part of the song the hardest part. I feel like it should be a 9 tbh.

Idk why all of you have problems with Small Steps and DOWNER & UPPER charts tbh. For me, both are ok considering both songs are pretty straightforward (specially D&U, the song isn't to crazy to make special steps). Crazy Shuffle on the other hand, has more room for special steps, just like they did in the chart.
Let's face it: DRS songs aren't to crazy to make weird patterns like DDR songs, except for a few.

Yesterday, I compiled the scoring difficulty ranking list for all Level 13 charts, using a formula based off Skill Attack score entries. Here are the results:
The formula I used to gather the scores for each chart is as follows:
SA = 1 - [ ( m+s+p ) / t ]
m = # of Marvelous Full Combos (MFC's)
s = # of Single Digit Perfects (SDP's) and up
p = # of Perfect Full Combos (PFC's) and up
t = total Skill Attack score entries for the chart
