The US white cab version does not get anything exclusive to the gold cabinets, and as far as I'm aware, only the white cabs are getting a US version.

Talked a friend of mine (who is a game tech at DnB) and he said he hasn't heard anything about updates for the white cab at my location.

Hopefully they will get it soon.

Was just at my local Round 1. At first the white cab didn't have the update. I was talking to one of the techs and he explained that he had gotten a dongle, but for some reason he thought it was for the gold cab instead of the white cab. I told him to try it on the white cab, and sure enough, it was the update. Less than an hour later and I finally got a chance to play Orca.

Ask your technicians if they have gotten a dongle for an A20 update. If they have the same mindset as the guy I was talking to, they might be assuming that it's for the gold cab instead of a white cab.

Edit: Oh, and as far as I can tell, all the J region exclusives (except The Light) ARE STILL THERE despite the machine being US region. This includes the Night of Knights challenge chart

I'm guessing the reason why "The Light" couldn't reach the NA-region cabinets is because the song is licensed by Avex and not W&W's Rave Culture label.

And we all know what happened to the Avex-licensed tracks in BEMANI games.

I'm not sure I follow the logic. The Light is playable on the gold cabs at R1, and it (and other Avex songs like Boombayah) is playable on DanceRush. Round1 still has to properly license the songs that appear on the Japanese games it imports, this is why (at least according to their Twitter) why we don't have some games like Chunithm.

I'm guessing that the RIAA is having a bit of trouble licensing "The Light", then.

The Light isn't only license missing in the US apparently, Command, The Dissappearence of Hatsune Miku and Cheat Code to Happiness are also gone too

What I meant was that they were already missing in the North American version of DDR A, so they would also be missing in the North American version of A20.

I also believe Lost One's Weeping was taken out of the NA version of A20. I sorted by level 15 and couldn't find it

I did a quick count by rows on one of the U machines here at R1. I got 18 rows+1 song in the A20 folder, and 45 rows in the A folder. Which means we're missing a hanful. I don't have the S level unlock from the event, but I have all the games at B level, and also completed Summer Dance Camp. Anyone want to check my numbers?

From my memory, 10 songs are gold cab exclusive, this was on FINAL STAGE so Orca and Splash Gold weren't there, so I think The Light is the only missing A20 song. But I think a couple more Ace ones are missing that we haven't noticed yet.

(EDIT) Either I miscounted, or my memory was off. I checked again and saw 49 rows in the Ace folder.

So far, only three songs (The Light, 初音ミクの消失, and 幸せになれる隠しコマンドがあるらしい) have been confirmed missing from American A20 machines, based on the list from RemyWiki

I took a video of the Ace folder on a white cab while I was at Round1 today, and compared the list to what Bemaniwiki had as the old song list for A20 (Remywiki doesn't have the songs sorted in the same order as the game does, while Bemaniwiki does), and updated the relevant pages on Remywiki.

DDR A20 has started to roll out to D&B locations.
Oakville, Canada and Times Square, NYC have both upgraded afaik
