Not even a week has passed and the inevitable already happened:

I kinda have a question about the voting event for those who don't have DDR A20 or even E-amuse near them, how will we unlock those songs if we get DDR A20 after the event, will we have to wait a few years till the next DDR Game or will it be locked behind Extra Stage, or are we unfortunate? I'm also concerned about the OurMemories and Show My Your Moves Challenge Chart.

Weren't there some songs in A that were only unlockable by having previously done some event in 2014? Are they still locked?

You mean the GUMI FLOOR INFECTION songs?

Yes, they're still locked... although the promised POLICY BREAK means that we'll get another chance to unlock them.

I wonder if with Edit Mode being available again, custom couples charts will be able to be created as well

Confirmed from multiple sources:

* Round1 is receiving upgrade kits for their white cabs this coming week. (Yes, we all know A20 is an OTA update, so this is very strange).

* The kits do NOT include new marquees.

From trusted sources but not 100% verified:

* The existing white cabs are NOT switching to Japan region.

It's never been explicitly confirmed (or debunked, for that matter) anywhere that the U version of Ace needs the online connection to boot (just assumed). At least as far as I've seen. Given that Round1 was able to license the Asia exclusives to operate the gold cabs in the US, the licensing issue that caused some songs to not be playable on the U version of Ace is a bit more complicated than it might seem. If the U version games don't use the revenue sharing setup that all the Asia versions do, then the upgrade kits would have to be purchased like the way things worked before DDR2013.

And Europe can't get OTA updates to A20 (or even software updates for Ace!) for obvious reasons.

Europe isn’t getting A20 even if upgrade kits are available.

Looks like pretty much everything else is now in though.

still pretty cool that konami made the effort to license most of the songs.

That's probably the reason for the delay,
Japanese companies can be fickle with copyright issues and stuff like that given how fair use doesn't rlly exist in their country

Any word on if Golden League/Class Mode is accessible to American white cabs, or is that still exclusive to Gold cabinets, period?

I ask because the US version of A's premium mode didn't have any Paseli paywalls, so I'm holding out hope. XD (...and also because R1 Moreno Valley still doesn't have a Gold cab. :/ )

Also, just for laughs, are the Gold cabinets updated to the US version, or no? (UPDATE: I just asked someone with knowledge of the update on Twitter, and they told me that no one knows, so at the moment, no. In other words, either no one at R1 has tried it yet, or they might've had specific instructions to only update the white cabinets?)
