Custom made DDR Background Sequences

So I wanted to make videos using animations from EXTREME, just like some songs on the AC versions do. Since Beware's pack videos look kind of blurry I had to deal with the quality of each video. I made 4 sample videos just to check out how they look






I wanna try to make videos for songs that never had animations, songs from the pre-MAX (that were never revived) and post-EXTREME eras (except those that already had some videos like the Replicant-d-Action songs or EGOISM 440 for example), songs that received special videos on STR!KE and EXTREME 2 and songs that were scrapped during the development cycles of each game

Thanks. I was actually making one for STRICTLY BUSINESS but the rapping part is so long I don't have many ideas of which animations could go there (I did try to work on the chorus where I put the puppet animations on the "I shot the sheriff" parts)

Yeah, I'll probably try to not put too many animations next time, that one is definitely bloated with clips

I also tried to emulate MAXIMIZER's video but it has some clips that aren't in beware's pack (specifically the one with the glasses guy looking backwards, it is in the pack but there isn't a longer version of it)


I'm also thinking of making videos for non-DDR songs, though I'd probably be more selective with which song's I'd do

i remember it being in the pack? I also have it i think. (I could give it to you if you want)

In reality I do have it, but that animation is shorter and isn't as long as how it is in MAXIMIZER'S video (also as a side not, I have this video but for some reason it doesn't loop, does yours loop? maybe my pack is glitched or something)

I made another video, I really liked making this one (except the very last part of The Legend of MAX's part, I haven't actually noticed how many changes there are in that specific part)

Tbh I was hoping they'd give DDR MEGAMIX either a full-screen or stage-embedded BGA in A, and I was very disappointed that they didn't.

Same to be honest, it'd be pretty cool if they made a video using the animations of each song
Also I reuploaded the video again, I fixed some timing issues with the B4U segment. Now the video has subtitles!

yea mine is shorter as well. Only explanation i have for it is that beware probably cut it to make it short. So I think I could find a fresh version of it by going into the game files. (That'd be hard tho)

I see. I wanna try to rip some too but I have zero knowledge on how to rip files from PlayStation games. Still, thanks!

For the 1998 part on DDR MEGAMIX, you should use the SUPERNOVA video instead of EXTREME one. For the door's closure, you should use the DDR 2ndMIX doors showned on PARAREVO.

Same! Even though sometimes I feel kind of limited by using a fixed number of animations, though on the other hand the DDR team had to do the same years ago with EXTREME
