Not heard EVANESCENT yet, so I don't have any say on it at this time. I'm not the biggest fan of the Bloom series but I really dig BLO§OM. Unbelief is fantastic, especially if you're a fan of Asaki's other works. Necroxis Girl and Sidechained Threats are good picks for crossovers. Macho Monkey seems like a mix between Say YEAH! and M4K3 1T B0UNC3. It's not bad but differently a let down giving how much kors k knocks it out the park.

Overall much better set of new songs than the last two phases, so that's a plus. I'm glad the unlocks are getting much better now.

The second reward for this run of ARENA MODE is... おおきなこえで†, which is about the last song I expected LEGGENDARIA charts for. 10 on SP and DP.

Bump: The final phase of 蜃気楼の図書館 is out, less than a month after phase 3, giving us just one song.

One song only!?!?!? There’s definitely a new event after this. This won’t be like CB where one event ruled the entire style.

I hope there’s something else special after this, too. But with the way the BEMANI franchise has been as a whole within the past few years, I will not be surprised if nothing else interesting happens after this. For example, assuming that ARC SCORE will still continue, 1st style obviously deserves representation and a sequel/remix to one of its songs. But I’m unfortunately counting on it not happening.

Pendual, copula and Sinobuz all had two main events. Heck, both of Sinobuz's events ended in this fashion, with the final area only having one song in it. Cannon Ballers was unusual due to its release schedule (probably because of the hardware upgrade).

One thing that is unusual about Rootage is that the final phase here came weeks after the third, whereas in Sinobuz they were more like an extension of the third phase. I'd have almost expected Carmina to come straight after Macho Monky.

Maybe something about the final phase wasn't ready yet, and they didn't want to delay the third one? Or maybe Konami's just mixing things up. The Air Race of Cannon Ballers had the final song as a different phase from the others, as I recall.

Konami loves to be inconsistent sometimes. I remember when IIDX CS releases were still coming out, people (including myself) thought there were a number of "rules" that Konami was using when determining which older songs to include. Stuff like "no extra stage songs" and the like. Konami broke every single one of those "rules" that people came up with (including reviving a licensed song for GOLD CS, which nobody thought would happen).
