Well, I decided that this one had to be done eventually. It was one of those
SNES-type files that I had been putting off and putting off and promising and
promising and finally took the time and the initiative to get done. Even though
it's short, I'm glad I did it. It's a good warm-up file or just a good file all
told. I don't think there's much if any problems with it...my only complaint is
that it's so short. I think the whole SNES GUITAR RUN is just a sweet idea, but
then I've been known to pull out some weird stuff from the SNES before that's
turned into a decent file (take Satan's Theme, for example).

I think this could be a contender against ST, but not for its length for the
file. It's a short 13, and Satan's Theme, re-rated, would be a 13 as well over
2 minutes. I still think that if you're looking for a run file, however, you
found one better than Quasar. :\

But who am I to judge? Play it yourself. :)

In-depth step analysis:

BPM: 170.90
Time: 1:25

Step-charts:

Beginner: 1-footer

Even though the Oni is 13, this is a welcome introduction into
Stepmania/DDR/ITG/whatever. There's an upper crossover towards the end, but
it's only to let the person wonder what they're going to do with it. Double-
step or actually turn your body?

Light: 3-footer

Doubled stream, but actually a little less complex than Beginner with the lack
of a crossover. Nothing too horrifying.

Standard: 6-footer

Still not dealing with anything horrible yet. There are a few brief triplets of
8th notes with some running every so often but they're only burst streams. This
isn't a flat out run like Heavy or Oni is.

Heavy: 9-footer

Now we get down to the dirt of the file. This doesn't really go to the guitar
per se, that's Challenge's job, but it does give you the feeling that you're
getting there and then some. There are few breaks in this except for the ones
that are given for effect, so this is a great warm-up file for those of you that
want to get the muscles moving before you tackle something else.

Challenge: 13-footer

Honestly, the 13-footer is there to note that this is one hell of a run over the
small time that you have it. We have 16th and 32nd notes (every so often)
littering this chart and very little margin for error inbetween. I've been able
to pull a varying A out of it so far, so I'm gonna say that it's on par with
Pandemonium for the stream factor, if not a little more...but given the fact
that it's not as long we start running into some problems on how to rate it.
It's a 12 or 13. All told, it's hard...it shouldn't be considered death because
it's really built for fun, but it shouldn't be considered easy either. :)
