DMHiryuu's Simfile README
DOD 7th #1/#126 Sinful Rose
Performed by Yoko for Disgaea 2
Created this November 10, 2006

>>>

Well, I wanted to do a certain one first but...I really wanted to see if I could
test out the R21 update to the In the Groove 2 machine nearby. Given that I
wanted to do this song for a sim as well, I think the two added themselves
together and took precendence over a file that would be much longer to finish
and wouldn't be used for R21 more than this one would.

Anyways, Sinful Rose by Yoko would be the intro to Makai Senki Disgaea 2. I
don't think there was a better song to hear when I first popped in 2 after
waiting two or three years for it and the intro movie was like
'omgbeatbaalnowomg'.

Ah yes, the Nippon Ichi series of SRPGs are quite the good ones. From Rhapsody
on the PSX on up through La Pucelle, Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom and
now Disgaea 2. If you haven't played this selection of games, I encourage you
to do so. If you've got hundreds of hours not being used, use them to destroy
enemies in any one of these games, particularly 2 right now since that's been
out for two months.

This was made for pad. I guess you could use 2-hand designs on Edit, but 1-
handers won't want to get near edit with the default setup for Stepmania.
Sides, this wasn't really built for difficulty. Edit was thrown in to test out
a few things in R21 as well as Hands. It's a short little file but I think
everyone and their brother who played the game will at least want to play it
once. Enjoy, as always. :)

In-depth step analysis:

BPM: 140.95
Time: 1:29

Step-charts:

Beginner: 1-footer; 72 steps

A very quick run for Beginner. The stage itself doesn't begin until a little
bit in when everyone else is already moving. There are some -eighth note- uses
in this 1-footer. They are meant only to throw n00bs. Otherwise, it's about
what you'd expect from a 1.

Light: 4-footer; 148 steps

We start off a little sooner now. The stream now starts getting a bit denser
but you won't really have to worry about much. Just enjoy the music.

Standard: 6-footer; 262 steps

Now, we'll toughen up a little bit. Standard is really the outline of Heavy
except for a few changeups to the turning and the ease of notes in Standard. If
you can pass this, you'll likely pass Heavy.

Heavy: 8-footer; 290 steps

See Standard. Really, this isn't too terrible of an 8. I almost dropped it
down to a 7 but I figured I may as well have some people think they have egos.
:D

Edit: 9-footer; 403 steps

Pad paradise, I thought. I really liked how this one turned out for being my
first one with the usage of hand elements. It is mined but nothing too
horrifying. Most of it goes right to the beat but there are some points that
divvy off into their own little world for a moment at times. I think people'll
get a kick out of the crosses, spins and motions you'll need to go through to
attack this sucker smooth.

But, then, that's for you to decide.
