NOTE: I originally entered this file anonymously in 2007 to DDRExtreme.co.uk (now DDREvolved.com)'s CheeseMix 4. Below is the original readme that was included at that time.

Aya Matsuura - Ne~e?

From: Ne~e? (single)
Length: 1:45
BPM: 170
Created For: DDRExtreme.co.uk's Cheesemix 4

This step file includes BEGINNER (2 feet), BASIC (5 feet), TRICK (7 feet) and MANIAC (8 feet) difficulties, as well as lyrics, a background video and video banner. All steps have been written to fit the song fairly closely other than BEGINNER, which is why the other charts are all unusually difficult for their type. I have decided recently that I generally prefer to follow the music, even if it means using the occasional blue arrow on BASIC. MANIAC is very stream-heavy in parts and quite tiring, but overall I feel that it fits the music well, including the intentional repetition of some sections.

The lyrics are from Project Hello. If you would like to read a translation of them, you may access one at:
http://www.projecthello.com/matsuura/nee.html

I was considering adding in emoticons to reflect the mood indicators, but eventually decided against it. :)

The graphics are again screen-captured from the movie. The background is the initial splash screen of the movie; the banner includes the song title from the movie and my own artist text. The CD title is by Xythar.

Ne~e? was Ayaya's ninth single and her fourth highest selling single of all time, after Momoiro Kataomoi, LOVE Namida Iro and Yeah! Meccha Holiday.

Notice a pattern? :)

It also sold more in its first week than any other single of hers, except Momoiro Kataomoi. It's a fast, fun and above all cheesy bossa-go-go style song about... nagging, I guess; read the translation for yourself and see :) The video simply serves to push the cheesiness even further towards critical mass.

All of Ayaya's non-cheesy songs have sold pretty terribly by comparison, you know (other than LOVE Namida Iro). You'd think Tsunku would take the hint instead of just arranging for ballad after ballad after ballad lately :(

Anyway, thanks for playing! I hope you enjoy this one as much as all the others, and thank you all very much for your continued support! :D
