Hitomi Shimatani is a J-Pop singer signed to the Avex label. She has done a variety of music in the past covering a wide variety of genres, but does not often do rock - making this song all the more unique and interesting. This song is her most recent single at the time of writing this, making this file quite contemporary! It's about time some _recent_ j-pop was stepped for one of these, after all. The song is also available on her most recent album, "PRIMA ROSA", and so the included CD title reflects this.

Fun fact: Hitomi Shimatani is in fact no stranger to stepfile competitions. The song "Perseus" by her was previously entered into Tournamix 5 by... well, let's not give everything away, shall we? ;) That song was more typical of her style, actually, so anyone who remembers it will probably be surprised to see her reappear here of all competitions. :)

The video for this song is quite stylish with its black and white imagery, and the graphics were designed in the same way... well, that makes sense seeing as how they're just screencaps from the video. The text and cd title were designed to be stylish, then. Quiet, you.

Heavy and challenge, as you will find, follow considerably different stepping philosophies. Heavy, for example, includes no jumps at all. This is unusual, but the idea was to create a sassy, foot-stomping chart where beats in the music are emphasised by having you hold a freeze and stamp with the other foot. Stamp as hard as you can, it's more fun that way! There are a few interesting crossovers, but not much stream. Challenge on the other hand is largely based around stream and jumps, instead of freezes and stamping.

The song cut runs very long by comparison to most DDR length files, but it had to be this long in order to fit the guitar solo in and it would have been disrespecting the true spirit of Rock Out to leave it out. This is also why the step counts are unusually high over all charts. It's still enjoyable and the song feels more fulfilling given the length... well, hopefully you'll agree and enjoy the file as much as we do.

Oh, and the lyrics are from Cori's homepage, here:

Thanks for those.

That's it. Nothing more to say. Have fun!
