StepMania Converted Cabinet (International) Location: Located at the center of the arcade, can be seen from the outside. Has DDR Extreme marquee Comment: DDR Extreme converted to SM5.1 (Simply Love theme) with all US DDR releases including A20, ITG 1/2/3/Home/Rebirth, Stock SM5 songs, and a variety of pop and video game songs. Work in progress to add additional packs. Volume is quite loud. Pads are your typical "mall pads" although they seem to have been improved as of late. On 1P side, the RIGHT arrow occasionally misses and on 2P side, the UP arrow occasionally misses. The worst thing about this cab is that EVERY song is off-sync (have to step early) and some of the step charts are non-official (i.e. ITG). By using Simply Love, that means global offset is a feature which has been removed because Simply Love is mostly for the post-ITG community meaning simfiles tend to be synced with a +9ms bias. Anytime new songs are added, someone will have to perform a Machine AutoSync (F6 key) by creating a chart with nothing but left and right arrows, turning on the metronome, and hitting those on beat until the machine is synced to that. If nobody ever performs this Machine Autosync, the songs will forever be off-sync.	5.0 per set of 3 songs	Bad

With a little love, both the four and five panel machines at this arcade could be a lot better. The Pump just needs some pad work, though the monitor is small. The DDR needs to have the visual quality turned down on the theme, which will reduce the visual lag. The pads on both sides need to be worked on. Finally, adding some more casual and competitive ITG packs from the last few years will really add to the playability of this machine. Players will enjoy seeing songs from other media that they enjoy, and more serious players will enjoy the higher quality of charts from these packs. 4 years agozeioIIDX

I played yesterday and all my scores were basically a C grade when in reality, they should have been AA or higher. I've played DDR/ITG/PIU for 16 years and this is probably the worst machine I've played on in regards to being off-sync. Whoever is adding song packs, can you perform a Global Offset adjustment or perform a Machine AutoSync, please? It's pretty atrocious as is so I'll be sticking to Margaritaville Resort and PIU Infinity for now. I'm grateful for the effort someone has been putting into getting that DDR machine up and running though. Got to play BLACK JACKAL from A20 and that was an amazing chart. It was also fun being able to play the 2 charts I stepped for ITG 3 back in the day (Dynamite and Get Away). 5 years agomrg06

Played today. Pad is still as crummy as ever. The machine itself would be amazing if not for the terrible sensors and recessed arrows. I could countersink the screws if they'd allow it but they never would, lol. Also could use a boost in volume. Ah well. 5 years agozeioIIDX

New SM5.1 conversion is REALLY nice. They're still working on the pads and trying to do something with the PIU machine, but the DDR cab is now infinitely more fun to play on. Can't quite pull off my 17s with Vibrams like Rising Fire Hawk CSP and New Century ESP, but Ace for Aces DSP, Max 360 DSP, In Between ESP, and Ishtar ESP are all clearable. Don't know when they got DDR Extreme but hey, it was there today when I visited. The machine works pretty well, I was able to AA my set of songs (7, 8, and 10 footers). If I can convince them to increase the volume on the machine, this would be a decent spot to visit for a DDR fix and you can't go wrong with Extreme. 2P side now "works". I was able to get a B, an A, and another A on the set of songs I played. But the pad felt hollow, stiff, and I still got plenty of pad misses. None of the hidden songs are unlocked either. It would be an ideal spot to play PIU because the arcade is always dead/quiet and the machine is next to the glass so you can show off a bit to passersby but the machine is utter trash. 6 years agozeioIIDX
The PIU Zero machine at this location is the same machine that has been passed around from the IP Casino to the Cinemark 16 theater then The Grand 18 theater and now to this arcade. It used to work just fine back when it was at the IP and the Cinemark 16 six years ago but it's utter crap now. No point in coming to this arcade for dance games. Go to Margaritaville Resort instead, it's only a few miles east of here.
