Royce's Arcade is business that rents and sells arcade machines. But on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, they open up their warehouse for a few hours and puts all its machines on freeplay. Cost is 3 dollars.The selection of games can vary from week to week since cabinets can rotate in and out. But there's generally always a collection of classic games from the 80s, a scattered selection of fighting games, 1990s sit-down driving games, light gun shooters, a few pinball machines, air hockey/skeeball, and very recently, a DDR machine. All of it on freeplay!
IMPORTANT: There is no guarantee any of the listed games will be there on any given weekend. Games come, go, and come back, so the games list should be considered tentative and fluid.
ALSO IMPORTANT: Do not organize large groups to come to the warehouse during freeplay hours. Also, don't leave children unsupervised. They recently started to require people sign in before they can start playing. A minor inconvenience, but hopefully not one that leads to this place putting more restrictions on access.
UPDATE: Around 2020, Royce's Arcade Warehouse permanently closed according to sources like Google Maps and Yelp.
