The GamesCentre at the Forum de Montréal closed on March 15, 2020. As of April 10, 2024, it has yet to reopen, but renovations are happening. Montréal Bowling on the fourth floor is open!Outdated speculation on reopening: https://redd.it/u0s55h/
The arcade was located on the third floor of the Forum de Montréal. A few games can be seen from the window of the closed space, while an inactive air hockey table is set up outside of the closed bowling alley. At one point during this decade, several classic games were available by using cash on the ground floor, but this is no longer the case.
There also used to be a Cineplex arcade, but it has been replaced with the Cinémas VIP lounge. Billiards, or pool, is available.
When GamesCentre was open, to play arcade games, you needed a membership card from GamesCentre. It cost 5.00$ and you have to recharge points on the card. 500 points = 1.00$. You can recharge the card at a minimum of 5.00$ = 2500 points.

3 years agoAFK797Hey ATomik, If you're ever talking to staff again about upgrading the machine when things get back to normal, maybe float the idea of upgrading to supernova 2? That might be the easiest since it uses the same hardware as SN1, but idk how common the upgrade kit/disc is. Just anything but those god awful DDR X machines.

4 years agoATomikI've been in discussion on several occasions with Chanel, the floor manager, to request an upgrade (DDR Ace ?

5 years agookaeriI haven’t been to the forum for a few weeks. Perhaps they might have changed a few sensors here and there. But I really doubt it.
5 years agookaeriThat doesn’t change the fact that it’s recessed and undersensitive. Myself and a friend have both full combo’d most hard charts except for PSMO on the right side. The sensors nearest to the center metal plate on all arrows does some misfire sometimes though so you have to press wider.
5 years agoSenketsu97I played DDR yesterday on the right side. The pad was fine and the up panel didn't have a problem. I managed to pass TLoM on it.
