IIDX Accomplishment Thread

Well Since we have a DDR thread lets do a IIDX one.


I'll start:

V - Normal - Cleared - B ( I know I suck, but I just started two months ago)

I've been playing 7 months and still can only clear a few 8s. I
I still think I really suck.


And I also need to update my score tracker at some point.

I don't know if you really suck e-s-g. But i think IIDX is one of the hardest musical game.

I have play like 2hours at IIDX (diferents mix, like Red or Happy Sky), and i can pass some 3s and not all ! When i started DDR i pass some 4s in less than 2h. I have try pop n'music too, it's not harder than IIDX.

IIDX is so dificult... or it's just me ?

I'm pretty sure it is difficult.
I haven't had much experianced with Pop'n, since I only play it when I visit my brotehr who has, (only a couple times a year) and didn't catch on quite as well as with IIDX (Using an ASC here), but I still love it, and think it's lots of fun.

Oh and I put that "I still think I really suck" as a little joke, because Th0m4svu said the same thing, although he obviously got better than me, and in lesser time proportionally. I try to not take what I can do for granted..

Wooh, Presto passed with an A on Hyper 156k, I know that's a fairly low A on DistorteD, but I'm still happy that after not improving for 4 months, I'm breaking the Level 8 wall!

I started playing last August and I just A'd V on Hyper. Granted, I can't pass a lot of 9's, but I made it a point to pass V.

Been playing for a few days(only played at arcade one day) or so -_-;; and I don't have any home versions D: Probably my second fave BEMANI game next to drummania.

All Level 4's basically Cleared C and up

I'm pretty stoked because I passed my first 9s, MOON and Infinite Cave
Infinite Cave was pretty easy though, I got an A on it, but it took loads of tries before I could A MOON.

I stopped playing for 3 months and just started again and I totally changed my handstyle, so now I can only pass most 8's on DistorteD and a few 9's...but the hardest song I think i've passed is probably apocolypse dirge of swans (9) or moon on hyper...or maybe ay caramba on hyper...but I used to be able to pass half the nine's on distorteD or atleast a third of them but i need to keep practicing I guess..and get more versions.

I managed to pass Pollinosis A7 and INAZUMA A7 today. ;D The 12s still pwn me bad tho...

Bump: Got to the last 7 measures of Scripted Connection long mix. I wasn't happy.

Hopefully nobody will mind if I revive this, considering a new game just came out anyway. >.>


I picked up BMUS again after a drought, and this time managed to make room on the coffee table for the controller rather than hold it in my lap. It's much more secured this way, and I made a lot of progress working on 2-handed style. (When the controller's in my lap and there are lots of fast scratches, I tend to send it flying haha.)

Anyway I got my first real AAA on First Day [n], which felt really good. I was trying on 5-key for awhile, but my best was 1 point shy (88.73%) I did get AAs on a few hypers like The Way You Move and Virtual Insanity... yeah I still play 3's.

Oh, and I cleared Manmachine plays Jazz [5k], but I didn't really find the perfect window That makes only two more 5-keys (Genom Screams, 321 Stars) until I've cleared all of them.

All those chords right at the end kill me, even with HARD on
And also 100% minimoo-G is a similar story... Except it's the scratching mixed in with stream...

But my progress is such a mess, I don't know why I can almost clear these 10s, but hardly any 9s.

Is it just me, or is Do it!! Do it!![n] the easiest 7 in existence? I can clear that song no problem yet I can't clear Xepher[n] which is a 5.

Also I cleared six 10s on Gold, giving me a total of eight 10s cleared.

YOU really suck? I've been playin IIDX for 4 years now and I can barely clear Lv.8s... u.u
Only last week I got my first AAAs, on The begining of life, then on Honey Punch.

I started playing IIDX about 2 months ago, and 3 weeks ago I began passing 6's on Beatmania US.
I got IIDX Gold a week later, and as of today I'm sightreading 6's on Hyper and getting A or B on them. Considering that I couldn't pass a 3 when I started playing IIDX, I'd say that's an improvement.
I still can't pass any 7s or 8s though, well not on Hyper that is. Normal is different.
I did play 5key for a while before hand, and I could pass 7s and 8s, but switching from 5 to 7 key is kinda hard, I must say. :P
