Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2 (PS2) (Europe)

so i guess we(US) are beta versions
expect for Dance Dance Revolution(first one),DDRUSA,Konamix,and MAX
i found something funny about DDR
When it come over to the US and the Japanese version all ready had their mixes like up to the 3rd mix or so and they(konami around 1999 when they were not stupid)made DDR for the U.S.(not DDRUSA) after the Japanese was out and all the way to MAX the us version was good from somewhat 28+(i could be wrong) to 50 in Konamix and to 65+ in MAX but then when SN2 came(or DDRMAX2) came out before the Japanese Version were out,the game(JP Version) being to get better and better and the US Version being stuck at only 75+ only
for Dancing Stage, it came after the JP and US were out and their songlist were bad/good(it the way you see it if it good or bad) so they get parts from the US and JP Version (with the japanese game parts being used mostly)
so that why they get the character select and all four new characters but lack some things like the infornmation part in DDRSN2(which both the us and jp version has)

FIRE and volcano are in different places as well. FIRE should be in where volcano should be, and volcano should be with the rest of the Yellow Songs. All others in purple should be green.

Also, dunno whether this happened in the other versions, but whatever.

In HMM, are you supposed to be able to directly skip to the boss of each area? There feels something wrong when I've beaten the first 10 bosses in 20 minutes.

Also, I strangely found the forced doubles mission on Strict Machine rather easy...only because I've been playing Doubles that way since Unleashed 2.

Yeah, they allow you to play the boss songs to advance to the next area. But to unlock the secret areas you would have to complete every mission.

The forced Doubles missions are only easy for those that play Doubles. I had no complaints when I played them. It was rather fun, but boring at the same time.

I think the fake doubles missions were harder for me because of my doubles experience. I always felt like I was in the wrong place.

I'm still in two minds as whether to get this or not. I want the new licences, KO's and crossovers through a legal method but the fact that the game is pretty much an insult to everything European really puts me off. I mean can Konami even say with a straight face that they even tried?

Konami Executive: "Oh sorry Europe, we were too busy calculating all the money we'd make from DDR X to care about you".

That was never the case until SuperNOVA. Now, it just feels like they make a special point to use us as guinea pigs.

If they want to satisfy the one a year quota, we should have a Party Collection-esque in 2009 and wait until 2010 before having another arcade port because there's no way there'll be another AC game out before February 2010.

hm....what i want from them is a good CS game like Extreme2 and Extreme(i like that game for pop'n music songs expect for the songwheel)
it should have songs that we still need with some new songs,new characters from DDRX(jp),allow some(good,fan-favorite songs) from past versions of DDR to be on this one
names for the new ddr game,a few on my mind:
DanceDanceRevolution X2(us only because the japanese version always has a different expect for MAX2)
DDR: Party!
(and maybe have a version for the Wii with new songs from today in the US like those songs that UNI3 did not have that were on the back of the game box)
DDR: Dancing Collection
DDR: Movie Editon
DDR: Music Party
DDR: Best Hits of 2000's

that why it called DDR X2 or DDRX+

The only way we can catch up is if a new game (with unreleased songs to US and Europe) is released sometime around March (since American PS2 DDR releases are usually in September). That way there can be a "global release" in all three major territories, with no missing songs (besides possible licensing issues) and such. Like RoyBoyCF said, it can only happen in 2010 at the earliest.

Yeah, I've been missing the song which I like, but am ashamed to admit.

Also, is it just me, or is it that every song at 148 BPM I just happen to like?

It isn't sarcasm, and I want DSSN2 because A. I actually love Cara Mia (playing it in Stepmania made me want the real thing), and B. I like having Alice in the game.
