what's your idea on the next arcade ver of DDR?

BE FOR YOU SONG Please. It would be great if We have the new BE FOR YOU group. OR STRIKE PARTY!

They should give us the Hottest Party Stages, those were awesome.

I think the idea of the music select screen should be blue and green mixed together.

The logo should display a BIG #3 next to DDR SN.
Just like ITG2.

Yeah, some more "realistic" stages would be nice.

Like dancing in a meadow or on the roof of a skyscraper. Would look cool on BemaniPC hardware~

Yes, I'm tired of seeing those damn boxes flying every where.

Honestly, I would like to see a boss song that reaches up to speeds at 600BPM.

Ed: And also, I would see Outer Limits and Max. (period) come up from CS.

I'd like to see the X-Box games get some representation, but I don't really expect it. It'd be amazing to see HP crossovers like 1998 (Sparky 2006) too - I've played it on r21 and it's hella fun.

I was thinking of loads of new songs with some from a video game or anime. New graphics, characters and background stages. The logo has to be brilliant too.

I would like to see more of a move away from characters and toward background videos (a la IIDX or PIU), some Bemani crossovers of stuff that isn't IIDX (probably won't play well outside of Japan, but who cares), and a new interface (I'm sure Konami can think of something there... I'm pretty sure the next game won't be SN3, can't you tell?).

piepie: Actually, the BemaniPC hardware is fairly underpowered... unless they have upgraded the specs, it's more than enough for Bemani games, but it's no Sega Lindbergh hardware (or, for that matter, a PS3 or a modern PC).

I don't really care of graphic and all, it's cool, but not the most important.

I just want real stepchart, shit like ska a go go, healing-d-vison oni, felm oni, leading cyber... this stepchart would have never exist. There is lot of awesome (but diférent) shit in it. And i just talk about SN1, a have found some crapy shit in Euromix2 and i didn't talk about SN2 songs ahahah (groove radar special for exemple...).

I don't enjoy playing chart who are hard and just hard. It's a game (and a sport) but it's so much better to have fun when you play a song

I prefer the work x2 on the stepchart than on the graphics...

I would like to see more BeForU songs too. Strike Party!! or Rx3 would be perfect for DDR.
We still have to wait until March to listen new material from the BFU 3rd gen.

for SN3? I'd say actual accurate ratings. I think the players should rate the foot-ratings. None of this Uranus Oni being a "10 when it feels like a low-9" b/s.

And what are they gonna do this time for a theme? Name songs after constellations? I'm starting a stepfile mix and how 11 of them are named after actual stars (i.e. Sirius, Procyon, Polaris, etc., some of them, I'm actually gonna arrange on my own)

How about no themes? That means that unlocks (should they happen) could be absolutely anything. That means that every unlock'll be a surprise. Of course, the stepcharts have to be good quality, but...

Well maybe for the Even NEWER World Tour they could bring out some continent-specific songs, haha.
It would leave nice little seats for the trigger of innocence and Kachoufusetsu to crossover into, eh?
