Greatest Achivement on DDR

How can you have only 29 great on LOM but 20 greats on Dance Dance Revolution oni ? O_o

Might as well contribute here. Ahh last thing I did was 20 greats FC on PSMO and 7 greats on Chaos OMES. Is it me or is Healing-D-Vision way off. I am talking about the AC version, mind you.

It is quantized to 16^ths, when it should be quantized to 12^ths. The gallops near the beginning are only offsync by a 48^th, but the jumps before the speedup are all progressively off by another 48^th, after each jump before it. The last jump in each jump section is more than a whole 12^th off, and it's easy to read the jump and tell that it's off. The song is also quantized incorrectly at the 8^th jump sections after the speedup, but everything between the 2 jump sections after the speedup is quantized correctly.

Also, try making your own rhythm for HDV in Stepmania with only 12^th arrows to see what I mean as far as it being incorrectly synced to 16^ths. It matches the tune exactly at the part that normally uses crossover gallops, and the assist tick proves the jumps would be synced correctly to 12^ths.

I have played "Ballad for you" yesterday (arcade SN1 in France), even i was in x5 and x8 after ( 3 try ) i can't AA this shit. I have something like 94.8%, i want to kill konami so hard to make stepchart off sync... ( and i can have some scores on 9 who are not bad ).

Did someone try to have a AAA on balad for you ? xD

It's the hardware's fault. It leaves 12ths as 32nds, so all the notes are 'there but not quite' in terms of sync. Fortunately, with the future possible transition to the Bemani PC, all 12ths will be onsync in the next DDR. After all, some songs are fixed in SN2, right?

Let's stop derailing the subject and move back to pad achievements.

Well, I ran at 420 spm (12ths at 140) for a full 210 steps, then went on to 31 clusters of 5 steps, seperated from the stream and each other by a single unstepped 12th last night. Song settled down after that, and I would have passed it if hadn't had a 300 step stream at the end (got ~1/3 into that monster, then couldn't step anymore). >_< It was a long version edit of Eternus I found on FFR. Anway, I think that's my highest speed for a stream of that length. Comboed most of it too, so I know I was hitting the rhythm right.

After going mad trying to AAA Look at Us on Ex2, I decided to never devote time to getting a AAA again. I'm not going to play a song 189t675701265910265 times just on the off chance I'll get it perfect once. I'll happily go for a AA though, as it doesn't require as many attempts, and I AA'ed Eternus (expert) the other night.

One of my best achievements on a Dance pad since I'm not yet used on playing expert at home but I can play expert at an arcade...
