I'm pretty new here, and this forum looked like it needed some help...
So, who likes StarCraft? I recentley dubbed it my favorite game ever, with other runner ups being Cave Story, TimeSplitters 2, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 9, and others.
I have StarCraft and Brood Wars Expansion, and all the novels (including Uprising which is only in eBook or the new collection). I really want to get the board game. I have the soundtrack, lots of StarCraft music stuff, including some sweet remixes from sites like Dwelling of Duels.
What do you think of StarCraft?

Excuse me as I bump this.
Starcraft is pretty cool. Pie and I play every once in a while. If anyone wants to play or something, you can message me whenever.
I've been watching SC matches on youtube for the past hour...I can't get over how good Jaedong is. Being a zerg player myself, it was nice seeing him take down Flash.
I've been playing around with strategies lately. I've been doing 9pool lately but I heard 12pool is better sometimes.
I'm not that great with the micro though. I mean, I get the basic hotkeys for making units, but I'm not that great at controlling my units. I'm still working on that...I've adored guardians for a while, but man it's so hard to manage them if they get attacked.
Sooo yeah, I'm going to take over this thread. I expect it to continue.

StarCraft is definitively one of the best game ever made !
I've spended long hours on it, playing with my sister/brother on LAN.
But StarCraft 2 in 3 separate games o_O ? ... What the hell Blizzard ?

I'm a casual player so I get slaughtered in online matches, but my friends and I are pretty evenly matched. Protoss FTW.

That guy who got killed early on? He was like horrible. I went into his base and I was like "Wow".

No, on your team.
Though that other guy on my team was god awful. "Hey I'm making a nuke" "Oops your base is getting attacked...oh you have no units because you spent forever making a nuke"
He didn't even have the decency to give his ghosts cloak.

Screw that, carrier rush (each w/ 8 'ceptors) as well as MC'd lurkers and tons of zealots (fully upped of course) to counter, finished off with photon cannons for defence
.If you want a decent match btw, look no further than a player I know called DarkGod. (Still an active SC player to my knowledge)

Wow i didn't know you guys had SC...i got the original + Brood War, but i rarely play on it anymore -_-...
